I genuinely wish Taylor bought Carly Rae Jepsen's songs and released them. Carly's music is better. I don't get why Carly doesn't get a fraction of success that Taylor gets.

:deadbanana2: her lyrics are literally horrid and her productions are cheap as f***

But only her fanbase streams her music. How can she have the biggest unique listeners ever? Could it be that her haters are lying?

Of all the delusional things OTHs are saying about her it has to be the most absurd one :toofunny3:

How about you just wish Carly had more (highly deserved) mainstream success without comparing her music to Taylor’s? :)

Now imagine if she had charisma, it would be 500M

Don't forget the stage presence. It would be 600M easily then

ok I got your point. I like both artists. I think Taylor totally deserves her success because of her work ethic but Carly deserves more success too. No need to compare them.

Lover is gonna have 2 1B+ songs by the end of 2023, joining 1989? Oh wow

Will Midnights also? Or no. I don’t think so right?

If only she had some form of cultural impact maybe she’d have done 1B :lakitu:

I remember being on this website during the 1989 era and thinking she’d never see that career high again. And now here we are. :rip:

The record-breaking is so frequent that I’m almost numb to it.

Now what we’re not going to do is slander the immaculate musical output of Miss Carly because some poster was in their feelings :tsk:

Nah, none of the follow up singles smashed as much as Anti-Hero. But Lavender Haze, Karma, and Midnight Rain will all probably be in the 600-700M range :gayorkcat2:

Ok cute, reputation and Midnights can get there together next year. (LWYMMD, Delicate, and Dont Blame Me should all reach 1B by then I think.)
