Baby Judas Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 (edited) divide had a good run. Time for the new King! Edited July 7, 2023 by Baby Judas 1
byzantium Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 (edited) Dua could take the title if she re-releases Future Nostalgia with Cold Heart, sweetest pie, Kiss and Make up, and the Barbie Song. Edited July 7, 2023 by byzantium 7

Why would she put Kiss and Make Up, a song from her debut album, on Future Nostalgia? Love her, but even if she added all her post Future Nostalgia releases (Cold Heart, Sweetest Pie, Potion, and Dance the Night — which would all low key fit the album honestly), the album would "only" have 12.925B streams, so not quite enough to be #1.
TaylenaStan Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 Divide should still be the most streamed album of all time if we add YT/AM tho
nmt Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 ... And I haven't listened to a single song from the album.

He didn’t even do a vinyl pressing for this album, we don’t know his selling power, I mean ofc he wouldn’t sell physicals like Adele or Taylor but still

The success of this album in streaming was 1 in 1M. And I don't know why ATRL insists on talking about physical sales, this is not 1998. Only obsessive fans buy 10 different versions of an album or vinyl to put it on a shelf for the rest of their lives.

They had actual physical/digital sales and weren't only a 1-trick(stream) pony Not even saying that this is the only reason why he is so strong in streaming. Just saying this is why he is so much More stronger than usual. U can try to deny sales as much as you'd like, but they still have and show power in the music market and are much more impressive, especially because it isn't the 90s

JennyWayne Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 Kinda insane that Ed held the record for that long with the insane growth Spotify had these past 6 years. When you think of it, Ed's Divide era is the biggest of the past 10 years and possibly the biggest since 21.
