LanaDelRey Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 He's right. The tip should equal the price of the order itself. 1 13 16
WitnessOblivia Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 We basically don't tip at all in my country so..I just think this is really weird. The **** you was soooo unnecessary though. 1
ugo Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 I live in Canada but sometimes that tip culture is too much (the machine only allowing over 12% sometimes) When I first moved there I didn't know about the culture and I remember going out with new friends for the first time and the waiter waiting by the table for his tip because I didn't know I had to do it. My friend stepped in and tipped for me and explained. I was really embarrassed.
Zoomer Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 She tipped 25% of the order price, not to mention the delivery price. Entitled ugly *****. 14
Lana Banana Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 Why even work at that job if you’re gonna behave like that? Wow. 1
May Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 sorry but at that point get a job that actually pays you stop relying on the public to pay your wages 13
rhaenyra Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 What an entitle little **** 25% tip is 30% too much of what he actually deserves 1
Chartman Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 From me it would be just 3€ for a 20€ Pizza delivery. 😅

No. ----- OT: Tipping culture has gotten COMPLETELY out of control in the United States. Food service workers at drive-thrus and carryout orders are expecting tips now. I'm sorry but no Employers need to pay people a living wage. Edited July 7, 2023 by LustSpell 5 2

Peroxide Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 It’s just wild hearing this as a Brit… Like, we tip if the service is good but it’s often just 10/15% of the total order. Nobody should be obligated to tip… that responsibility falls on the employer. Add on service charge and use the money to pay your staff better.
dussel_06 Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 This is America. If you can’t tip 50% then don’t dine on restaurants or order food. Go to the grocery and cook your own. 1 1 17

CaptainMusic Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 The nerve, tipping culture is a mess in the U.S So glad we don’t have that here in the U.K, I would only tip a food delivery driver if the weather was bad 4
Mystical Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 The way Americans are so obsessed with tips. Maybe y’all should drag the greedy corporations who pay embarrassingly low salaries instead? 8
