Which option is more terrifying for you: getting married or moving in with your SO?

Neither one, I'd be happy with both. :lakitu:

Neither, to be perfectly honest. I'm actually moving in with my SO in less than 3 months.

I guess I'd say marriage, if I had to choose one. Yes, you are legally married, but that shouldn't change the dynamic of your relationship all too much.

My boyfriend and I are extremely communicative when it comes to budgeting, communicating when something doesn't feel right or we need our free time, we compromise, we're both clean, etc.

Yeah, as long as you and your SO have a healthy, loving relationship where you're two whole people, I don't see stuff going south-- at least very easily or without some sort of solution.

Neither. I'm not at that stage of my life yet since I'm focusing on career and self love, but both sound amazing.

Moving in together tbh 🤮

Definitely both; I'm currently in a situationship and have no desire to marry at this time. I would feel challenged to share a home with anyone for a long period of time. I love my independence and the companionship of dating someone.

Getting married, definitely. I'm not ready for that type of ultimate commitment; it's something I don't take lightly. I could definitely handle just moving in; it would have to be understood, though, that no matter how much I love you—there will come a time in the day that I just want to sit and listen to my music and read my books, without being bothered. :foxaylove3:

they both sound exciting

It would only be terrifying if you're not truly in love.

I think moving in together can be terrifying, but my partner and I had a nice "test run" since we basically spent a year living together in a room during covid.

Well when you get married normally you move in with your SO, so...

both. leave me alone!

neither, but I'll never have a significant other so neither will happen unfortunately :monkey:

both.

Both would make me happy, why would it terrify me? :rip:

If either of those things terrify you... you aren't with the right person.

Posted

definitely getting married because you need a divorce to undo it. you can just move out if you don't get along

Posted

I already live with my SO.

So I guess it's marriage. Terrified is not the right word though. I just don't see myself getting married. The concept or something..it just doesn't appeal to me.

Moving in with an SO.

I've yet to live with someone and didn't want to murder them after a few months. Sharing space stresses me tf out.

Marriage just because it seems like a business deal and all of the legalities that come with it. IDK, I don't trust the justice system, etc.

never actually finding someone to do either of those things with

I want both but I'm single and probably will forever :weeps:
