zasderfght Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 Neither, to be perfectly honest. I'm actually moving in with my SO in less than 3 months. I guess I'd say marriage, if I had to choose one. Yes, you are legally married, but that shouldn't change the dynamic of your relationship all too much. My boyfriend and I are extremely communicative when it comes to budgeting, communicating when something doesn't feel right or we need our free time, we compromise, we're both clean, etc. Yeah, as long as you and your SO have a healthy, loving relationship where you're two whole people, I don't see stuff going south-- at least very easily or without some sort of solution. 1
LustSpell Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 Neither. I'm not at that stage of my life yet since I'm focusing on career and self love, but both sound amazing. 1
99sandthe2000s Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 Definitely both; I'm currently in a situationship and have no desire to marry at this time. I would feel challenged to share a home with anyone for a long period of time. I love my independence and the companionship of dating someone.
DamianSolo Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 Getting married, definitely. I'm not ready for that type of ultimate commitment; it's something I don't take lightly. I could definitely handle just moving in; it would have to be understood, though, that no matter how much I love you—there will come a time in the day that I just want to sit and listen to my music and read my books, without being bothered.
Artist Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 It would only be terrifying if you're not truly in love.

magicfever Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 I think moving in together can be terrifying, but my partner and I had a nice "test run" since we basically spent a year living together in a room during covid. Spoiler Now I'm waiting for the ring
Before Today Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 Well when you get married normally you move in with your SO, so...
Breakdown Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 neither, but I'll never have a significant other so neither will happen unfortunately
velocity Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 Both would make me happy, why would it terrify me?
shinyshimmery Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 If either of those things terrify you... you aren't with the right person.
shookspeare Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 definitely getting married because you need a divorce to undo it. you can just move out if you don't get along
WitnessOblivia Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 I already live with my SO. So I guess it's marriage. Terrified is not the right word though. I just don't see myself getting married. The concept or something..it just doesn't appeal to me.
Khal Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 Moving in with an SO. I've yet to live with someone and didn't want to murder them after a few months. Sharing space stresses me tf out.
Darius Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 Marriage just because it seems like a business deal and all of the legalities that come with it. IDK, I don't trust the justice system, etc.
AMIT Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 never actually finding someone to do either of those things with
Alldeezy Posted June 29, 2023 Posted June 29, 2023 I want both but I'm single and probably will forever
