Please - it has nothing to do with franchise this or that, people would obviously tune in for quality. Most of these films I didn't even know were out so I can only assume it's the same for the general public. It's not films that are primarily failing, it's marketing for these films.

I think the issue is less about the films themselves and more about the budgets these movies are getting  A $200mil budget for some of these films is insane

In no world did I expect an Indiana movie to ever fail. 

But I also did not expect The Flash to underperform as hard as it did too with all of the positive reviews/tracking.
