I was really disappointed by thr singles i dont want ro listen to the whole project tbh Rock Hudson is my favorite. Lighthouse, My Favorite Kind of High & Red Flag Collector are great too. Not sure if any of them were singles. -- Happy for my girl Kelendria Clarkson Top 10 after 20 years of a legendary career is definitely great!
Sergi91 Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 Too bad Peso Pluma isn’t selling a dozen variants of vinyls otherwise he would’ve been higher 1
HEAVYONIT Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 (edited) Was honestly expecting like 25k for Kelly with all things considered so this is a SURPRISE Edited June 27, 2023 by Black Jesus
Renan90 Posted June 27, 2023 Author Posted June 27, 2023 TOP 20: WALLEN'S REIGN Morgan Wallen, and Republic, are headed for another week atop the HITS Top 50 chart with One Thing at a Time (Big Loud/Mercury) as Young Thug’s Business Is Business (Young Stoner/Atlantic) falls below our initial projection. Meanwhile, Peso Pluma’s Genesis (Double P/Prajin Parlay) is on track for a Top 3 debut with projected activity of 65k. Now, if you’ll excuse us, happy hour awaits. https://hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=336523&title=TOP-20%3A-WALLENS-REIGN 1
Ger Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 Oh so Young Thung is underperforming... Rise Kelly riseee
brianc33710 Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 I would like to see Clarkson to at least earn this week's top selling album, not ATEEZ.
Dreajae Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 The rap industry should be embarassed with how they bullied Gunna in "honor" of Thug. Only for him to probably not outsell him first week. 2 Drake features and you can't pull 100k? Wow.
UnusualBoy Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 America really want Morgan to have the longest #1 from the past 30 years, huh? 21 is still 10 weeks away but this mf ain't dropping harder enough...

And what are we comparing to? Was the entire Spotify 200 only new songs at one point? Or could we say streaming in general has always allowed older music to thrive? I’ve seen the same comment over and over from you too but it’s never like informative or has a legit reason to keep saying. Finally someone who called that person out it's always dramatics

I'm okay if an old song is there once in a while, but songs like CS, Sunflower, Starboy, and Heat Waves have been consistently on the list of top daily streamed songs on Spotify for 2-3 months now. Not to mention, we have a 4-year-old album (Lover) in the Top 10 of the BB 200, and another album (Dangerous) that's been in the Top 10 going on 3 years now. These type of things do not happen in a healthy and thriving music industry, especially in the spring and early summer months. The new Spiderverse movie came out and ppl are listening to Sunflower again It’s the summer: Heat Wave is getting another resurgence and had always lingered in general. Cruel Summer been viral on Tik Tok, but also it is the summer and finally got released that’s not a lot

The rap industry should be embarrassed with the underperformances of the last 2-3 months, and leaving us stuck with 40% of the Top 10 being Morgan and Taylor albums almost every week. It’s already bad enough that we have too many albums over the last 5-10 years ranked too high on the BB 200 all time list. It will be a sad day when these Morgan and Taylor albums surpass classic albums like Thriller and Rumors. Edited June 27, 2023 by pride4jc1222

He did release “Metro’s Version,” so he’ll bump up some more but this isn’t a good look for him. He really should’ve waited to be able to record new music if he wanted to strike.

mintpasty Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 Honestly solid numbers for Kelly. The true underperformance is Young Thug, I really thought he was seeing 110-120k
