I predicted 52K for Kelly so it's close, hopefully she's able to cross the 50K mark. From what I'm seeing that would be a #4 or #5 debut for her? It would be her lowest peaking album but still a great debut

Queen Kelly :clap3:

Imagine with proper promo without the strike :jonny:

It's amazing considering she's in her 40s and barely any promo because of the strike

Other girls debuted at #9 and #10 that came out the same time she did

oh that's a flop for Peso.. I though he'll do some Bad Bunny numbers. Not bad's latest album, obviously, but at El Ultimo's numbers..

Young Kelly coming through :wanda: rooting for Young Thug to snatch number 1 away from Morgan

Young Thug just tanked because he had terrible reception like first day numbers were really promising but afterwards well... it got the reception of Karma remix but for a whole album

Peso Pluma was never gonna do huge numbers all his new releases barely debuted on global spotify in fact this is a big debut for him, he just had multiple viral tracks but there wasn't enough interest in himself personally

Young Thug’s new album wasn’t very good. Gunna’s album was better imo and that was without any features

The numbers seem disjointed ever since Morgan dropped One Thing at a Time. I mean, it's almost July and songs/albums on the top of the charts are largely the same since March. There definitely has been a change in the market of the music industry in these last 3 months. People just aren't consuming the new music for whatever reason. Sunflower and Cruel Summer are in the top streamed songs (despite Taylor and Post having multiple new songs out), lol. This doesn't bode well for Olivia, Drake, or anyone releasing new music.

You’re literally the only person who keeps spamming these threads with the sunflower and cruel summer mentions :rip: every time I see a comment about 2019 songs I know it’s you like please stop :rip: Olivia and Drake will be fine plsss

OP: peso pluma bombing as garbage should

That's surprisingly low for both Thug and Pluma :celestial5:

For Peso Pluma it's basically his debut in the American market, so it's well for him. Ella Baila Sola and BZRP Session are not even on the album so the numbers are mostly 'organic'

We're halfway done 2023, lol. I'm okay if an old song is there once in a while, but songs like CS, Sunflower, Starboy, and Heat Waves have been consistently on the list of top daily streamed songs on Spotify for 2-3 months now. Not to mention, we have a 4-year-old album (Lover) in the Top 10 of the BB 200, and another album (Dangerous) that's been in the Top 10 going on 3 years now. These type of things do not happen in a healthy and thriving music industry, especially in the spring and early summer months.

I just think it’s a little dramatic to say it’s a dying industry because we can name 4-5 songs that are always being streamed. And what are we comparing to? Was the entire Spotify 200 only new songs at one point? Or could we say streaming in general has always allowed older music to thrive? I’ve seen the same comment over and over from you too but it’s never like informative or has a legit reason to keep saying.

I'm hoping Kelly can exceed expectations. This album is one of her all-time bests.

Great numbers for Kelly. I was expecting Kesha numbers, tbh.  Glad I was extremely wrong.

Kelly number seems decent:clap3:

That's great for Kelly! We need vocalists in music too so glad to see.
