I upgraded to an X to a 13, and it didn't feel worth it. Only upgraded because I had to cause they couldn't replace my battery on my X without replacing the screen

8 to 14 Pro. Was worth it cause 8 was beyond busted but honestly I should've just settled with the 14.

I have 12 pro max and it might’ve been the worst purchase ever. I had XR before and this upgrade was worthless + the screen is too big for me. Won’t be upgrading anytime soon.

I have an iPhone SE, it's small and still has the home button. Battery life is complete shite though

A purple iphone 14 Pro Max. The best phone on the market, really.

My current iPhone is the 13 Pro Max, upgraded from the 12 Pro Max. Aside from the change in color (blue to gold), I wouldn't consider it a significant upgrade. I really do love the gold color though :jonny:which played a part into why I didn't upgrade to the 14. The dynamic island did nothing for me, and there weren't any noticeable physical changes let alone better color options last year that would've made me move on from the gold.

I upgrade every year and currently have the 14 Pro. Tbh I’m not that satisfied with it mainly due to iOS 16 being a messT. The camera is okay, I’m not a fan of the processing. And I think the battery degradation continues to get worse every year. Many people have complained about their battery health, mines at 89% like wtf. :deadbanana:

I will be upgrading to the 15 PM.

My upgrade cycle has been:

iPod Touch -> iPhone 5c -> iPhone 7 -> iPhone 12 -> iPhone 14 Pro (current)

The 7 to 12, as I'm sure you can guess, was the biggest leap. Honestly I was hoping the 12 -> 14 Pro would be a worthwhile upgrade, but it really wasn't. Battery life is definitely much improved, but that's about it. The Dynamic Island left me a bit disappointed because it's so underutilized. I'll probably hold onto my 14 Pro for many years so my next upgrade can feel as satisfying as the jump from 7 to 12.

I kinda don't wanna upgrade anymore since they got rid of the headphone port.

I currently have the 12 mini but the best album I had was either the 6S or the XR, loveeeee those phones.

I have the X since 2018 and tbh it’s still okay except the battery :rip:. I hate how it can’t last a day already.

I’m planning to upgrade to 13 in two months after I have saved. I just love the number 13 because it’s the number of success and impact.

Almost every iphone upgrade has been "worth it"

The upgrade from iphone 6 to X.... :jonny2: so much more screen but retaining the size (HATE those big ass Max's)

Briefly had an iphone XR when my X was destroyed but not much of a difference.

The upgrade to iPhone 13 Pro tho :jonny2:  everything run so much faster, the camera qualiTEE, upgraded battery and storage space! I can see myself waiting until the 16 to upgrade again tbh.

The only thing that really annoys me is with the camera, how when you get too close to an item the lens will try to focus on it but just gives up and automatically switches to a lens with SHITE quality, like I'd rather get an unfocused pic with high res than a "focused" pic that's grainy as hell :rip:

iPhone 12, I’d rather replace the battery than buy another phone right now.

The iOS 16 has messed up my battery so bad, I have to charge my phone twice at day and it gets hot at times ever since I updated it, I hate it here.

iPhone 14 Pro Max in Purple. The upgrades were not worth it. Might be the first year I don’t upgrade. We’ll see!

I still have a iPhone 12 and before that I had a IPhone 7. I usually only upgraded every couple generations because not much has really changed since the iPhone 5.

I honestly will wait until there is a radical change. Cuz at this point all the iPhones for the last few years feel the same

I upgrade every year and never regret doing so.  Battery life on the 14 Pro Max is :jonny5:

14 Pro Max but it really wasn't worth the upgrade from the 13 Pro Max :rip:

The 13 PM -> 14 PM was probably the smallest jump in terms of upgrades in years.  The only noticeable hardware change is the pill cutout in the screen.  Hilariously, the new camera with twice the resolution outputs photos that look identical to last year's model.

14PM, upgraded from the X so yes definitely worth it.

iPhone 12 in Purple (all my past iPhones were black :rip:). I don't see points in upgrade (if only after phone's death).

I currently use a 12 Pro Max and am impatiently waiting for the iPhone 15. I typically get a new phone every two years, but I found the iPhone 14 releases to be so basic and identical to what I already have that I couldn't justify the new purchase. I'm hoping the 15 will be impressive compared to my current phone, + I'm going to upgrade my watch to the Ultra and my super old MacBook Pro to the 15" MacBook Air.
