Anthony Padilla returns to Smosh, buys it back with Ian Hecox

Anthony Padilla, co-founder of Smosh, has returned to the popular YouTube channel Smosh. He left in 2017.



Today it was announced that Padilla and co-founder Ian Hecox have bought Smosh back from Mythical Entertainment (Rhett & Link).

Damn, this brings back so many memories from the 8th grade

Realistically speaking, I'm not sure how viable this is though? I feel like the whole "nostalgia is the new now" thing is kind of waning away

And while they were YouTube's poster boys for a bit, it's not like they were a massive household name with lots of loyal fans
