Kiel D-01 Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 No purpose, at all. I just make the most out of it. 2 1
shookspeare Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 hopefully finishing grad school and finding an academic job so I can avoid the real world forever
Virgos Groove Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 (edited) Happiness. I've experienced it before and I know I can reach it again. (Also, to outlive my enemies.) Edited June 19, 2023 by Virgos Groove
Jotham Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 Idk really, ever since the pandemic started I've never had a clear idea of what I want to do with my life anymore tbh. But as I've gotten older I've realized it's okay to live with uncertainty and to not have things figured out.
EnigmaticAndroid Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 I'm on autopilot right now. Trying to finish some undergrad stuff and then grad school next year. Just working, saving money, and trying to work on myself slowly.
NordicGuy Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 I feel like my purpose is to take care of myself so that I can take care of others.
Solaria Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 Helping other young adolescents when I get my degree to not get as lost in life as I did when I was growing up (and still am tbh)
Gorjesspazze9 Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 Don’t know why I’m still alive. Everyday feels pointless 2
James_Joint Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 I have no idea tbh. I’ve changed jobs and moved to different cities every 1-3 years since I graduated college 10 years ago because everything repulses me eventually. I have no interest in dating/marriage/kids. I guess paying off my car and taking care of my cat is my life purpose. 1 1
JayG Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 (edited) I've been a designer since 2008. So that. I never understand people who say they dont know what their purpose is. Career? Passions? Dreams? I've been doing dance, design, writing, film making and production since I was 12. Its always been there. Music, art, family, all the things I love, thats why you're here. Think of all the producers, designers, writers, creatives etc. Many people are living their purpose doing what they love/are good at. Find that! Edited June 19, 2023 by JayG
Miss Fortune Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 If you’re struggling with this I really recommend reading On The Shortness of Life by Seneca. People have struggled with this for all of humanity and reading a book from thousands of years ago exploring the same issues you’re facing today is really helpful in grounding your feelings. 1
JayG Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 Just now, Miss Fortune said: If you’re struggling with this I really recommend reading On The Shortness of Life by Seneca. People have struggled with this for all of humanity and reading a book from thousands of years ago exploring the same issues you’re facing today is really helpful in grounding your feelings. Seneca knew what he was though - a philosopher and a writer (among other things). Like, I think its as simple as finding out the things you're REALLY good at and doing that.
Luckitty Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 I'm literally just waiting to die i have no purpose or goals or anything
Joyride Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 to worship a godly looking man and to campaign for Girls Aloud to reunite and release one last album
Cyanide Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 Ever since I was a teenager I’ve always had the same passion that eventually became my job as an adult. Thank god I pursued my dream and didn’t allow detractors to dissuade me as a young child. It’s sad when people don’t have support in their dreams and can change the direction of one’s life forever.. Everyone should aspire to find their ikigai in life
