Careful on long distance trains. Italo tends to check, in my experience. But if you can get north, you could make it to Switzerland and on to Germany. Germany is far better equipped to handle refugee cases. Italy is currently going through a very turbulent time with the worst government its had in over a decade, whereas Germany is not.

 

My recommendation would be Freiburg. Its in the south of Germany and is a very, very progressive and liberal college town. Your English is very good, so you would fine on that front. You don't need to speak German to get settled there. And you can get there by bus from Rome or Florence (e.g., Flixbus), which would be cheaper than going by train. My only concern with Switzerland that they sometimes do passport checks. You could also go over Austria to avoid leaving the EU.

Yes you are right. This is why I am taking regionaly.

My word of advise as a lawyer (I'm not from Italy though), as you have already made an application the worst case scenario is that it could be rejected, but that doesn't mean you would be forced to go back or be deported. Human right treaties (Italy CAN'T ignore them) give you the right to appeal a rejected request for asylum (don't know how much time you have to appeal in Italy, probably not more than a month), or to make a new one seeking special protection as your life would be objectively in danger of huge harm or death if you were to go back to Pakistan. There's a lot of instances to hold your ground to not go back, on that at least you should be secure.

 

There should be organizations destined to assist refugees, at least providing information on how to apply for a public lawyer (as you don't have any source of income in Italy or proof of income from Pakistan). Also as some said, find LGBTQ+ associations that can help you find safe space.

 

It's a long process that no one should endure... wishing you the best 

As far as I know Italy is softer on asylum cases compared to other European countries. They even often accept asylums that were rejected in other European countries. Atleast that was in past. But these days they are focusing more on work permits than asylum seekers. Handing asylum seekers is more expensive than bringing labours on visas.

India/Pakistan have a 70 years long beef. There is a strict border between the countries that no one illegally crosses. And if someone ever does this will be considered a spy. 

 

India never issues visas for Pakistanis unless they are some government leaders or some really important people.

Oh you are a lawyer interesting. Where are you from btw?  

 

And yes that is true. Italy never really deport people. And they usually accept asylums in 2nd or 3rd appeal after rejecting the first but it can take 3 to 8/9 years (in a worst scenario. But the main problem these days is they are not taking new applications right away. People have to beg and sleep on streets for weeks, in some places for months.

Dpes your friend have PayPal? Last time I remember,  you don't need a bank account unless you want to send your money to a bank account. When I didn't have a bank, I had PayPal and then ordered a PayPal debit card. I'm not too familiar with Go Fund Me but if the OP made one I will definitely donate

I don't have any kind of documents. Left everything at home. But I will look into if it's possible to make PayPal without anything.

 

Unfortunately PayPal and GoFundMe don't work in Pakistan and can't be made with Pakistani bank accounts. But I will still ask him if he can manage something.

So, things are different in Italy? It’s really strange that a public lawyer cannot be offered for such cases..

 

Also, something important, since you have already been advised to move to another country, I would like to ask you first if they took your fingerprints in Italy before telling you to move, if that’s  the case, ur application would be rejected in the other countries and they would tell you to go back to Italy, so be careful
