But it's fine I will get on a train, sometimes they don't check tickets, especially when you have to transfer trains once or twice to your destination. Careful on long distance trains. Italo tends to check, in my experience. But if you can get north, you could make it to Switzerland and on to Germany. Germany is far better equipped to handle refugee cases. Italy is currently going through a very turbulent time with the worst government its had in over a decade, whereas Germany is not. My recommendation would be Freiburg. Its in the south of Germany and is a very, very progressive and liberal college town. Your English is very good, so you would fine on that front. You don't need to speak German to get settled there. And you can get there by bus from Rome or Florence (e.g., Flixbus), which would be cheaper than going by train. My only concern with Switzerland that they sometimes do passport checks. You could also go over Austria to avoid leaving the EU. Edited June 4, 2023 by The7thStranger
Distance Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 ON MY WAY TO LEAVING ITALY. WISH ME LUCK. Wasted a day making the decision but here I am now taking the risk.

So I am taking the risk. Wish me luck.

Human right treaties (Italy CAN'T ignore them) give you the right to appeal a rejected request for asylum (don't know how much time you have to appeal in Italy, probably not more than a month), or to make a new one seeking special protection as your life would be objectively in danger of huge harm or death if you were to go back to Pakistan. There's a lot of instances to hold your ground to not go back, on that at least you should be secure. There should be organizations destined to assist refugees, at least providing information on how to apply for a public lawyer (as you don't have any source of income in Italy or proof of income from Pakistan). Also as some said, find LGBTQ+ associations that can help you find safe space. It's a long process that no one should endure... wishing you the best As far as I know Italy is softer on asylum cases compared to other European countries. They even often accept asylums that were rejected in other European countries. Atleast that was in past. But these days they are focusing more on work permits than asylum seekers. Handing asylum seekers is more expensive than bringing labours on visas. Thank you .

Unfortunately there is a strong anti-refugee movement in Europe and Italy is one of the most racist countries with a far-right government. I would suggest seeking aid from refugee or LGBT charities who may be able to help you find somewhere to stay and offer legal aid. Sending love ❤️ Regionally. Yes I have heard that. Sad but such phases often come in countries. Yes trying best to find a best way possible. Have taken a new step. Leaving Italy. Thank you ❤️
Bosque Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 Good luck wherever you are going I second the user who talked about making a PayPal account, it is quick and free and maybe some people here would be able to send you a bit of money

The UK is going to be dead in the water if they pass the racist migrant bill That's what I planned. Wow they want to send asylum seekers to rawanada. I don't think it will happen but

Then people can send money and you can eventually get a card. Sending positive vibes. Thank you ❤️ Many people have asked me this but unfortunately I don't have bank related source rn. But can ONE of you please make a GoFundMe for me? Or you can decide and send donations to ONE person's PayPal now but when I will have some source I can ask the money to be sent to me. Is that possible? Cause I will be needing money to start over and I still have to pay money that was spent on my whole immigration. A friend of mine payed the smugglers and I will pay my friend back whenever possible. I will work hard for it.

Italy is one of the worst countries in Europe when it comes to refugees/inmigrants India/Pakistan have a 70 years long beef. There is a strict border between the countries that no one illegally crosses. And if someone ever does this will be considered a spy. India never issues visas for Pakistanis unless they are some government leaders or some really important people.

Where are you from btw? And yes that is true. Italy never really deport people. And they usually accept asylums in 2nd or 3rd appeal after rejecting the first but it can take 3 to 8/9 years (in a worst scenario. But the main problem these days is they are not taking new applications right away. People have to beg and sleep on streets for weeks, in some places for months.

Last time I remember, you don't need a bank account unless you want to send your money to a bank account. When I didn't have a bank, I had PayPal and then ordered a PayPal debit card. I'm not too familiar with Go Fund Me but if the OP made one I will definitely donate

But I will look into if it's possible to make PayPal without anything. Unfortunately PayPal and GoFundMe don't work in Pakistan and can't be made with Pakistani bank accounts. But I will still ask him if he can manage something.

Took another train and now here I am in Florence. So can one of you please purchase a train ticket online, from Florence to Milan and then send me the receipt??? Could it work this way? First train is 15:09 to 20:32. The ticket is 25.5 euros Second is 15:25 to 17:20 and the ticket price is 59 euros. Buy either one. And It's 14:47 right now here. How could I do this while in America?

The7thStranger Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 @KillingYourCareer you're from the north, right? I'm trying to make contact with an LGBT+ refugee organization in Bologna, but I just missed their phone hours. Are there any such organizations in your neck of the woods we could call?

A.R.L Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 (edited) So, things are different in Italy? It’s really strange that a public lawyer cannot be offered for such cases.. Also, something important, since you have already been advised to move to another country, I would like to ask you first if they took your fingerprints in Italy before telling you to move, if that’s the case, ur application would be rejected in the other countries and they would tell you to go back to Italy, so be careful Edited June 5, 2023 by A.R.L
