Because he's a grifter. There are countless right-wing grifters because conservatives are easy to manipulate and scam. A lot of these ghouls don't even believe in what they spout, but their audiences love it; it's business to them.

Yes, he’s simply trolling for attention and money. The problem is that honestly, and unfortunately, it’s actually quite a lucrative business. All you have to do is profess intense hatred for something and the right wing imbeciles will absolutely eat it up. It’s such an easy way to appeal to the lowest common denominator and it works like a charm thanks to the vitriol filled society we live in. The fact that people would even remotely take somebody like him seriously speaks to their intelligence and how desperate they are to disrupt our peace.
