I'll give my top 5

1. Root canal on my back right molar
2. Breaking my wrist at snowboarding nationals when i was 12 and then having it heal while broken for the next week and then they had to re-set it and it was the most excruciating 40 seconds ever some intern just rubbed my two broken bones together inside my arm until it clicked back into place like a puzzle.
3. Breaking my collarbone snowboarding trying to do a  backflip
4. Bursting my left eardrum at diving practice before school and then having to go to school deaf in one ear (there was blood)
5. Getting a major concussion and whiplash and almost breaking my neck doing a back rodeo off a small jump at mammoth mountain in california (i saw jesus that day)

They stick some weird ass needle on your spine to gather some fluid between the vertebrae. Did it with a local anaesthesia the first time AND OH MY GOD. It was some doctor who had just graduated so the experience was not there. My scream probably echoed in the whole hospital.

 

Since then I always requested a full anaesthesia whenever they had to perform this. It was a pain in the ass logistically for the medical workers but no ma'am

This too  the emotional pain after a triggered BPD episode is just as painful as physical pain

i have bipolar and when im manic my heart beats out of my chest like that and i think im having a heart attack even though im just 23
