Tripper in my ass, the symptoms were crazy. When going to toilet it felt as someone put a long knife inside me, I nearly passed out from the pain.

My CPPS (Chronic Pelvic pain syndrome) can get bad, I'd be doubled over in pain sometimes as it's so sore and NSAID's don't work, also had severe knee pain from taking ofloxacin from having CPPS, wouldn't ever take them as it's too painful would rather suffer with my CPPS than take ofloxacin again.

yeah, it was with the turkish guy. I was bleeding after. It was really a different kind of pain.

I dislocated my shoulder last month at CrossFit. I was doing a handstand walk and was 32 minutes into a 40 minute workout. I have a bad habit of holding my breath when doing handstand walks. I passed out and fell on my shoulder and dislocated it. Hurt like a *****

I had a disc herniation in my lower back that caused sciatic nerve pain down my entire leg. Absolutely horrific. I spent weeks basically lying on the floor. Walking/standing would make me cry after a few minutes. Sitting was impossible.

Burning and stabbing sensations that were unrelenting until the herniation started to get smaller & take the pressure off the nerve

omg y'all had it really bad :rip: allah dont let me suffer like that... my worst pain was probably getting terribly hit in the baws when i was a kid and i had to like lie down and cry for 20 mins or when i fell on my ass from a high place and my back got hurt and i couldnt move from the ground for like 20 mins too :skull: but anyways i will never understand how some guys love cbt, the pain those purple balls must bring... no lord!

Penicillin G Benzathine Injection. Literally passed out because of the pain. Remember that scene on X Men 2 were a mutant gets stabbed with a needle and gets injected with a liquid metal thing and ends up dying? That was how it felt. :rip:

Also appendicitis. The worst part of it is it can last for days.

i felt NOTHING when they injected me with penicillin :rip: the doc was like it will hurt a lot and like... when i tell you i just felt the syringe touching my skin that's it.

esophageal spasms. it was WILD, the doctor said it was one of the worst pains possible and it really was. a nightmare.

i had a trip to Rio where i would see a Coldplay and Dua Lipa concert THE DAY this happened (one friday and the other saturday), there's no way i could catch the flight, just lost the two concerts.

interesting thing is that i did all the exams after it and there's no reason or infection that made it "easier" for it to happen with me

i was just terribly unlucky...

or lucky, maybe i would die traveling who knows  anyway, it was TERRIBLE. worst pain possible.

thankfully i've never felt it again, i couldn't even do the exams, they had to give me SO much medications, it's horrible.

For context:

"In some cases, esophageal spasms can cause chest pain that feels like you're having a heart attack. Call your provider or seek immediate medical care if you experience worsening, unexplained chest pain for more than five minutes."

The pain stayed with me for 8 straight hours.

Omg, me too. I was told that the nerves were damaged because of all the trauma to my toe, so I wouldn't be surprised if yours were too. The nail has taken years to grow back. I saw a chiropodist about 6 months ago as it was growing (slightly) upwards instead of flat/across, and she said there was a bunion growing under it so she had the clip the nail to remove it. I now have to file it everyday after getting out of the shower, otherwise it will come back again. Nightmare.

oh ****..  what a nightmare! Were they able to see that the nerves were damaged when you checked with the ER/your doctor, or did they came to that conclusion later?

this actually could make a lot of sense..as I barely feel anything when cleaning the empty spot where the nail used to be.. im gonna have to make a call tomorrow and ask :o

since the root of the nail hit the hardest, (and I lost so much skin there) I wonder if it'll even grow back..

aside from having to file it every day, hope it has healed alright and you're able to do everything you could pre the accident.

has it fully grown back now?

I have an artificial lens in one of my eyes which cut into my retina and left that eye-non functional twice. This was actually painless, but I had multiple scleral buckles (https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/retinal-diseases/multimedia/img-20135605) to resolve the issue which were extremely painful, and my pain meds weren’t helpful at all. The recovery was the most pain I’ve ever been in.

A bad case of an infected tooth nerve. I felt like I was heaven when the doc finally gave me the anesthesia injection.

I guess I’ve been lucky. Probably a calf cramp.

An old filling in my furthest back molar failed and the nerve got infected. I became literally delirious from pain.
