GentleEarthquake Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 Idk, I never truly hear recordings of my voice.
Selegend Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 (edited) When i am excited about something my voice changes and it gets gay. When i'm serious no, i'm very straight passing. To be honest, this is not even only about my voice. U can notice easily than i'm gay when i'm excited/very happy about something, but when i'm serious or working etc no. I work at the same company since 2017 and i have co-workers that i only see idk once a month that don't even know i'm gay lmao, one discovered when i talked about my (now ex) boyfriend some months ago and got shocked of course if u spend more than some days with me u can notice it tho (cuz i don't hide it) Edited May 24, 2023 by Selegend
Sawk Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 Yes I turn it off when I’m in some settings tho cause people won’t take me seriously
HausofNick Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 In certain cases, I guess my voice sounds more feminine, but in general, I have a pretty calm/soft voice that doesn't necessarily sound "gay"
Twilish Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 When I’m around people I’m comfortable with typically my girlfriends it’s a little effeminate. But in everyday conversation i just naturally masc it up soo a little of both
Zaynsus Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 Yeah. Even though my voice is naturally deep, it's very "soft" (like Ariana soft) so it might sound feminine/gay. It's even worse when I'm nervous, especially when I talk to people I'm not comfortable with, because my voice becomes high-pitched. It's funny sometimes because when it happens, I clear my throat, then I repeat what I just said but in a lower octave.
Karla Cabello Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 yes and im proud of it. a manly voice wouldnt fit me, and it turns on the bicurious guys too
Theshigo Washidu Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 No, but I've been told that I have a soft voice.
PrettyHurts Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 In ATRL.....everyone has a gay voice. If you have a straight voice, they will say that's not allowed 2 2
Smarticle Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 i think so, but i try to imitate @suburbannature as much as i can

Vermillion Posted May 25, 2023 Posted May 25, 2023 Yes. People think I’m a woman on the phone still. I’m too tired constantly about other things to be worried about it any longer so I’ve moved on from the shame…
