I’m confused about why Jared was mad at Cory for how he explained the situation. Was it not what happened? Cory obviously have no malice. Is Jared defending Luke?

I was really not sure what Jared meant either in the living room or in the DR about the Luke situation.

 

The Matt treatment on this show is so embarrassing. Don't they do a practice run before the live show to avoid that kind of situation?

 

The ending of the episode is the kind of camp I expect from Big Brother now.

Like from a nuanced place, I do get where Jared is coming from. There was no malice and let’s not play dumb: especially in straight male circles, non poc do use that word in the very same way Luke did. Should they? No. But like… shouldn’t you as a black man be using that as a teaching moment for why it’s wrong, malice or not? Idk. Bottom line he violated the rules and was rightfully booted. That word shouldn’t be in his or any other POC’s vocab.

Idk, I also saw the Jared thing as him feeling uncomfortable feeling like he needs to be the spokesperson for racism or be the one educating the house. Obviously snapping at Cory wasn't fair, but I think he didn't want to get in a whole house convo about it in that moment, which I think is fair if he's not ready to discuss it yet.

 

We've also missed a whole day of feeds so who knows what convos happened after the fact.
