I'm shocked that CBS took action given their history. It must be the first time someone's been kicked out for that word as I remember as recently as JC he just got a warning. I wasn't around in the early seasons so I'm not sure how many people got away with it then but I know some slurs made it into the show.

 

I expect they'll cancel the eviction this week so it'll be interesting whether Reilly will get to compete for HOH again. I don't know if she'd even want to win by how she's coping.

the racism thing is another story
but they shouldn't have let Luke get that far in casting. He had some..... illustrations easily found online (tumblr, etc) that could have been red flags to how he views/treats women. i know reilly, hisam and cory have either directly talked about it or hinted at that.

It’s a direct violation of CBS rules. Period. I agree, there was no malice but he should not say that word and CBS has a responsibility to uphold a very reasonable standard.

nope… apparently Luke messed up the plans they had for this eviction so no one knows what will happen but thankfully it’s looking like it is gonna be cancelled

I'm still on the DX train, his ig stories have been suspicious since the premiere, he’s not in any of them, you can’t even hear his voice just random body parts and POVs of Claire…he’s never NOT in or heard in his ig stories so that’s got me suspicious. Unless he’s playing into the rumors that he’s on, which if so he really did a good job loll but we’ll see what happens tonight

I just hope if there is a new houseguest, it isn't someone who knows Cirie's and Jared's connection. I wouldn't mind her having a better sparring partner because there are def a lot of dum dums in the house if Cory is the only one who has even seemed to realize she's a major threat yet, but at the same time I want her and Jared's reveal to be a bigger bomb drop later in the season so we can see if she can successfully pivot out of that and keep her spot secure.
