with any animal, you have to learn to speak their language. a cat isn't a human, and its not a dog either. if you make an actual attempt to befriend the cat you might be surprised!

i personally prefer dogs but i love cats too. cats are so much easier to take care of. you pretty much just need to give them food, water and clean their litter box where as there's so much more to do for dogs.

I love all of my friends' dogs but I would NOT like to parent one other than dogsitting for them here and there. Having to take care of a dog feels like having a child. They stink up the house, need whorish amounts of human attention, and they can be pretty loud even just walking around the house.

 

Cats I love as well, and I think I'd like to get one in a year or two. They are less needy and more fun to pet and get cuddly with.

Gays who want a child to love but couldn't usually have dogs as alternative, but many gays are from loveless family so they tend to not want children.

People that have dogs are generally terrible people, people who expect to be served. They have to have their egos stroked constantly. 

People who have cats are generally loving people, since it's harder to control cats. They don't demand to be followed.

Dogs are annoying and needy. Dog owners are afraid of there own company and have to select the most high maintenance pet to busy themselves with.

I've owned cats my whole life and I had a dog for the past 5 years, and Cats are so much better than dogs pretty much on all fronts.

Cats are independent, dogs are clingy and demand your attention 24/7. 

Cats are low maintenance, you need to walk and play with dogs at least twice a day or they become restless and depressed.

Cats clean themselves, dogs require to be bathed and they stink as soon as you do so. Their smell never goes away.

Cats don't roll around on top of rotten carcasses and dried poop, dogs seem to enjoy that the most .

Cats give you space, dogs invade your space.

Cats don't dig up holes in the garden, dogs will dig and dig untill all your plants are dead. 

Cats don't bark, dogs will start barking nonstop for hours as soon as they hear an other dog barking in the distance or a small noise outside. 

Cats are just the superior pets.

I prefer dogs but I’m also outdoorsy. Maybe it’s just the fem gays that like cats? I’ve sworn off ***** of all types.
