BloodLuster Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 all the gays I know irl prefer dogs; in my case I love love cats. dogs are too noisy, needy and they smell awful
Badgalbriel Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 (edited) Dogs are loving and caring creatures. I love my English Bulldog so much. I hate the cat we have. He's a total anti social thing, he dislikes people, he kills small animals and bring them home. He doesn't give a damn about anything happening. Cats are just too independent for my liking. They only want to be around you on their own terms. Not only that, I can't stand all the cat hair around the house. Edited May 22, 2023 by Badgalbriel
Helios Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 Dogs are stupid, dirty, filthy and helpless. Just like men. Cats>>>>>>>>> 2 1 1 1
Archetype Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 (edited) I love both, but cats are just so much easier to take care of. They clean themselves, use a litter box, and like to be alone for parts of the day. You don’t need to let them outside, but you can. Cats are also just good judges of character. I usually associate people who are obsessed with dogs as emotionally needy. Edited May 22, 2023 by Archetype 3 1

Where I leave the lady on the first floor has a dog and it always jumps on me whenever I’m getting in/out of the building. I’ve been living here for two years and that dog always attacks me. That’s why I prefer cats, they’re so much more independent and just keep it to themselves. They have an actual personality and are not just needy creatures like dogs. That’s just my experience, but all my gay friends can’t stand dogs either and have cats. How about you? How true is this gay stereotype? So this is a personal thing. You. The lady's dog in your apartment. And then the generalisation.
Vixen Eyes Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 depends for me, but overall i prefer snakes (Ball Pythons)
Subzero Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 Literally every gay person I know prefers dogs I have both a cat and dog but I favor cats much more overall. Dogs can be loud, require constant attention, clingy and need to be tended to when they have to use the bathroom. It's essentially having a child and I'm not interested in that. Cats are more like roommates who are much less clingy but are still affectionate and loving when they want to be or when you need it (they're great at sensing things just like dogs contrary to popular belief). They are more balanced for my personality as opposed to dogs who want to be attached to you 24/7 and have, for the most part, high energy. That's not really for me, I'm very introverted and quiet. I do love my family dog even though he does drive me crazy sometimes but I'll always prefer cats over dogs any day. 1 1

Heirloom Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 Dogs are needy and clingy asf, people who has pet dogs are probably narcissist btw. Also the amount of dogs harming / killing children Cats are smart, fierce and independent #girlboss 1 2
Into The Void Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 As a kid I wasn't allowed dogs so I got used to cats so I prefer them. I've only ever had cats. 1

ToMmY Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 (edited) Gays learn to deal with rejection from a young age. Most straights never do. Dogs are extremely needy and cats are unimpressed by humans. Need I say more? Edited May 22, 2023 by ToMmY 1
Nightingale Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 Since when do gays prefer cats? Go on any dating app for a second and you’ll see so many pictures of gays with dogs or a dog reference in their bios. Have rarely ever heard a gay talk about cats 2
BGKC Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 My lifestyle is just a better fit for cats. Dogs need a lot more attention and space and I live in a small apartment, working away from home for at least 10 hours a day, 5 days a week. I love both, but dogs are just a bigger commitment. Cats on the other hand don’t need no man and I relate to that.
Trent W Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 (edited) I love cats, but prefer dogs Maybe because I have a lot more masculine traits but I feel more comfortable with dogs I would be open to adopt a cat tho. Edited May 22, 2023 by Trent W 1
manuelalex9810 Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 Cats are just simply better, they’re more independent, they know where to pee and defecate, they’re calmer, etc. Dogs are loud, annoying, bark a lot and you have more responsibility with them. 1 1 2
ineedboxinggloves Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 Dogs require a lot more commitment than cats. Something gays in general aren’t really ready for 1 1 1
Mornings Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 My cat is my life. I cry at work because I miss him. He is my soulmate without him there is no me. 5 1
Johnny Cash Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 Gays are too unfamiliar with the concepts of affection and loyalty that dogs need and provide But in all seriousness I don't know, I personally love both 2
