Did you even read the article? because it clearly says he scored the most hits

It mentions songs from 2021 and a fully radio-driven "hit" as well as SFG which is hardly a hit at all.

They awarded him for other reasons. You know It.

Poor Kesha

he clearly won in the end and karma didn’t do much to him or his career :monkey:

His publishing credits suggest a lot of ghost work.

Hate to say it, but his Grammy for producer of the year is probably just a matter of time.

Producers technically get writing awards too, since they create the composition (beat).

Doubt it… if Doja not working with him again. Those were really his only hits outside of Nicki.

And well, let’s just say…she’s not a Grammy favorite lol.

Ghostwriting counts as songwriting credits for ASCAP, tho? I dont remember anyone winning due to ghostwriting :ryan2:

This is simply what the criteria is for the award. It's not voted on by his peers or by anybody. It's an objective achievement.

The pop music songwriter of the year is determined by the total number of a writer’s shares in ASCAP Pop Music Award-winning songs multiplied by the winning songs’ impressions, which are calculated based on Luminate data for terrestrial and satellite radio and streaming services.

And therefore, it is in fact us, the listener, who awarded this man once again. Well done everybody.

What “end“? His lawsuit is not close to being over :rip:.

i think the user meant that he "won" in the sense that kesha still had to fulfill her contract at the end and he is still very succesful, pushing out #1 hits left and right

He doesn't give a damn about the contract and no big name in pop is voluntarily working with him, hence why he switched to rap/hip-hop artists who are sometimes just as problematic as him :deadbanana2:.

ur acting like he isn't producing number one hits by artists that aren't even on his label left and right :chick3:

also, the passive aggressive undertone of your post, why are you acting like big names in rap/hip-hop are somehow less valuable than big names in pop  Saweetie, Nicki Minaj, Doja Cat (which she claimed herself she is allowed to work with whoever she wants several times, stop assuming things you don't know) and J. Cole are all "just as problematic"? literally go outside :chick3:

Are you serious? Do you know how racist that statement is? Calling rap/hip-hop artists problematic by definition? Wow. Reporting this post ASAP.

Let's not even discuss the stuff Kesha did in the past years to Katy which defamed her? How does the username "check out" when your fav literally made up lies about Katy and threw it in a lawsuit she wanted zero part off with stuff that never happened to her. Defamation much :coffee2:
