I see people on here calling Taylor "mayo" or "white girl". Apparently that is not racist and warnable? 

 

Why is it only racist when its towards POC?

 

Im relatively new here so please explain.

idk if it's racist but my take is that is not cute to call other people names regardless of the color of their skin

 

treat everybody with respect and the respect will follow, not selective respect but equality.

It’s racist by definition but it holds no power.

 

Those words don’t carry any historic weight, they are superficial and inoffensive.

Any white person that pretends to be offended by those terms is just playing victim.

White people have never been oppressed or degraded in the same way with language like that. Like above stated, it’s name calling, sure, but certainly not racist. 

 

We can all say white. It’s not oppressive language.

Mayo is indeed weird but it's not racist either
