It’s not like that at all. Unless you use it to write essays like some users here :skull:. It’s like Google but more dynamic

I’ve never used it but maybe I will when I get an office job :swan:

I've never used it. No interest, really. I enjoy having control over what I do and not relying on a program to do that for me :skull:

Never. I have friends and my own brain.

If a friend of mine sent me this clearly generic ass message when my father was dying of cancer, I would literally stop talking to them for the rest of my life :rip:

I’ve never used it. I might check it out though because I am curious about how it works.

One of my friend’s father is dying and I didn’t know what to say to him. So I asked chatGPT to write in my name “a beautiful message for a friend who’s sad because his father dying of cancer” and everytime my friend asks me for advice or comfort, I just tell him what chatGPT says. I kinda feel terrible.

I’ve found myself to be using chatGPT on a daily basis. Not only for homework, but for writing mails, messages to friends, advice, recommendations, getting good arguments to win discussions, tweets, basically everything. I don’t know how I survived without it for so long :rip:

Yes it is. Time is money. Getting a robot do something for you in 10 seconds instead of doing it yourself in 5 minutes is great.

if you would really stop talking to a friend because a message they sent you is not good enough or basic, specially when your friend’s only intention was to make you feel better, then you must be terrible as a friend :rip:

Winning arguments against right-wingers hasn’t been easier :cm:

how can you feel good  knowing that you are living such an inauthentic life?

idk what this is, but if it helps with interesting tweets maybe it will help with good responds or messages to send my fave since he likes a good joke here and there.

It is a useful tool. But don't do math calculations on it. It all depends on how you frame the question.

I just used it today to apply to multiple remote jobs... it wrote me multiple different cover letters and summarized my previous roles.

In a professional setting, especially in tech, if you don't, you will fall behind.

Curious to know how/what do you use it for in tech?

i’m a software engineer and have yet to get around it, I feel like its work would be easy to spot from something human made? (I.e. the AI generated pics you see on twitter daily)
