Yeah they can 'modernise' the monarchy by abolishing it. The ONLY right thing to do.

yes it should obviously be abolished, i can't believe some people actually drink the kool-aid and believe that the monarchy is 'important' like... in what way? be fr, most of the world doesn't have kings or queens and they do just fine without them. like others have said, there's a massive crisis in the uk, food bank use at all time high, people being homeless, people struggling to pay their energy bills and yet there is millions being spent on a ceremony for some old racist white people who have lived lives of unearned privilege. it's so shameful and embarrassing.
