I bought that film on blu ray regretted it. Only the first film and the 2nd film are worth watching at least the second film tried something different.

The trailer and stealth marketing campaign was really promising the result was genuinely such a let down

The 3rd film was so obvious at it being filmed in Canada the woods in that film looked nothing like the area in the 1st.

Blair Witch (2016) is underrated and one of the better found footage films of that era

Here for this! Even the second I have fond memories of even though I haven’t rewatched since the 00s. The first remains one of the best horror movies of all time and the most recent was a great little thrill ride through / expansion of the lore.

The first one is literally MOTHER to a lot of these girls so hope this one's good cause the 2016 film was not it

Who btw was 100% real according to the actors. They thought she was one of the paid actors they interviewed but this lady was legit rambling on with her story.

The 2016 movie was okay (them showing a monster kinda ruined it for me), but I have no desire to watch more tbh. Blair Witch Project was a great product of its time and should be left at that.

I'll say it... the 2016 is a guilty pleasure of mine. but this "franchise" has always been DEAD past the first movie. they're not going to able to replace the lightning in a bottle moment, simple as that.

If David F. Sandberg or James Wan were directing/writing this sequel, I'd be on board. We need a team of filmmakers who do well with more supernatural horror and can come up with a creative script.
