Is WarioWare underrated?

WarioWare is my one of my favourite Nintendo franchise (Zelda being my ultimate), with it's vibrant characters, simulating minigames and funny story modes - yet it's not discussed as much and it doesn't seem to have much of a active fanbase compared to flops like F-Zero and Starfox and doesn't have a character in Smash yet.

Why?

WarioWare games are amazing. I love the kooky and absurd humor in those games, too. The cast of characters is fun and memorable. I disagree that the Switch one was bad - it was a great game with a fun gimmick that changed things up, but the game lacked depth. They need to do another WarioWare game with full online capabilities and more mini-games. Or maybe a DLC to this most recent game, but I doubt that will happen. Nintendo really does set up some of their franchises to fail, and then they wonder why they don’t sell well. Take the most recent Advance Wars game as an example.

Edit: I think that person meant a character specifically from the  WarioWare series in Smash. Not just Wario himself, who is in Smash in spite of the WarioWare games.

Yes. The first one >>

Twisted was a fun spin too. The Wii and Switch ones suck though
