Surely you can’t be talking about The Last of Us? That game that’s been called one of the best games of all time? That game that came out in 2013, was remastered in 2014 and had a ground up remake released in 2022? The game that was turned into a HBO show recently and was released to both critical acclaim and high viewership? That game? Forgotten in less than a year? Sounds like fan fiction to me.

The Gamepass experience doesn't really feel like the "Netflix" of games to me when its first party exclusives doesn't have any heavy hitters in its catalogue. I don't see any Stranger Things, Squid Game, massive names that pull you in besides... the Halo that bombed and Hifi Rush that was kind of niche.  It has the potential to be a great thing, but all it has to show is quantity over quality, and none that were promised from 3.5 years ago: Elder Scrolls 6, Avowed, Everwild, Starfield, Fable, Perfect Dark. Just constant delay after delay, we're literally approaching mid-life cycle like..  The idea is great, however I'm older and have little time to spend on trying dozens of mid games.

 

If anything, the experience feels more on par with a cheap arcade and doesn't match the experience I've had the past 3 years with God of War, TLOU remake, Ratchet and Clank, Miles Morales, Returnal, Horizon FW, Demon Souls, etc. FF16 is another cherry on top.

That game looks mediocre at best and not being able to be released with a 60fps mode makes no sense 

It's a shooter...in corridors...with hardly much going on. Bethesda was always a mess with their engines tbh.

The bar is in hell for Xbox and they still couldn’t clear that.  If I was Microsoft and paid all the money for Bethesda and they put out such a mid game that can’t run well I would be PISSED. 60 fps for a shooter in 2023 should be the minimum standard, 30fps is DOA. They better pray that Starfield is good because it’s just been back to back L’s for Xbox/Microsoft.

Actually it's estimated that Series S / X is around 20M. If they don't increase this faster, Xbox One will surpass it during the next quarter i think (launch aligned). That's a colossal flop when you consider they literally released a 300 dollar console and no one is buying it
