I am more just happy they are keeping the classic animation style and moving forward with the adult Aang continuity

They did tho. Just Nickelodeon new shows are flops🤷‍♀️and they have created an entire New Studio aimed at making new Avatar series and spin-offs for the next decade.  The Next avatar following Korra is confirmed to be in development and there are 3 confirmed animated movies starting with this Aang Adulthood arc.
