Zendaya is building up a good resume for herself, what she lacks are leading roles in film. Once she has her breakthrough leading role, that'll probably set her up for the years to come

Zendaya is already starting to do more arthouse and “serious” movies, and I can see her continuing to do see because as she’s gotten older her looks have also become more versatile. Jenna is the superior actress but I don’t know if she can escape the box she’s in right now. Time will tell, but I mean Zendaya has been beloved not just the past few years but for over like 10 years so she’s proven she has longevity as far as relevance goes.

I think there are still heavy associations that being tall = classy and this translates into people not viewing you as a prestigious actor

I don't think this a fair comparison.

 

While they did start their careers in similar times and lanes (Disney stars) Zendeya has a bigger start from Jenna who only got her mainstream breakthrough last year.

 

Personally, I'm more captivated by Jenna's talent than Zendaya so I'm more likely to root for her.

Zendaya knows better than bite the hand that feeds her so she "wins" this by default since you need ROLES to get a future in acting and I don't see it for Jenna after that whole Wednesday fiasco. Rumour has it a lot of producers are already put off by her so we shall see!

I feel like there's a risk for Jenna to be typecast as a weird girl and those kind of actors usually don't have a long shelf life. Zendaya has an advantage over her in that regard right now.

There are tons of small/short actors, it's actually a bit of a stereotype

Zendaya has 2 Emmys (which is hard to get not everyone...), Euphoria was a smash hit series, and she has some blockbusters on her resume. Jenna has established herself within horror, was the face of a massive TV smash with Wednesday, and led Scream 6. It'd say Zendaya has a lead given that she's won one of the EGOT, but both have very bright futures.
