I was curious what some of our faves most forgotten/least used songs are that were hits/moderate hits, so I decided to see which of their songs with 500M+ streams on Spotify get the least amount of daily streams.

 

To prevent acts with just a few hits that get the bulk of their catalog's streams from skewing the list, I only included artists with at least five songs as a lead artist with 500M+ streams. Additionally, artists songs where they were a feature are not counted, nor are holiday songs for obvious reasons.

My bad, I put the right numbers but the wrong song, it was meant to be 7/11. Edited!

None of these are really surprising but Say So kind of startled me because it was such a big recent hit. 

Take a Bow being the oldest and also the most streamed  A classic I fear 

ME!’s daily streams getting tripled/quadrupled by some of Lover’s album tracks nowadays sends me  truly one of the worst lead single choices in pop history 

These are pretty normal srreama

Million Reasons.  ATRL always told it was a big flop, like, shouldn't it have like 10k daily streams and not almost the same as big smash Say So?

Surprised to see Say So here, it felt like it would've become Doja's signature hit at one point, but her Planet Her hits ended up overshadowing it, i guess.

Malibu, Million Reasons and Take a Bow are surprisingly strong. I would not expect them to be pulling such good numbers.

It has the standard dance remixes that pull the standard minimal numbers, plus the Nicki remix that pulls about 50K daily, but even with that it's still pretty low for how big it was in 2020.

 

It's weird but there are actually several female songs that were considered hits/smashes in 2020 that just didn't seem to hold up as well as you would think, so it's not like it's exactly a problem with Say So specifically.

Say So: 317K

How is 350K bad for Take a Bow? It's 15 years old...
