Do you still stream the non TV versions of the albums taylor has released. I personally do sometimes, especially for the songs where the re-records are horrible (most of the Max Martin tracks) but it's always with versions I've ripped from CDs and put on apple music.

I only listen to the Vault songs from TV. Idc to listen to the re-recorded versions. The re-recorded versions are boring to me. There's a lot of charm in her earlier songs

Yes, I never stopped using the original Red (or Wildest Dreams). I do prefer the Fearless re-recordings tho.

yes, both of the rerecorded albums sound horribly dreadful and i will not listen to that mess. I'll stick to the originals. I will give each new TV a chance as they are released but so far, i hate the two that we have tbh.

Yes and I don't care if some Disney Adult Swiftie who didn't stan until Lover tells me I can't. I have playlists of my preferred versions from both Fearless and Red.

 

Most of Fearless was improved for me, but there were a couple she butchered like You Belong With Me. Red was more of a mixed bag, some were improved like Treacherous but then others she got it WRONG like State of Grace, Holy Ground and all of the Max singles.

 

The 1989 ones so far have been quite good and up to par, but I'm extremely cautious about songs like Blank Space and Style.

No. Both Red and Speak Now re-issues/re-releases are superior to their originals.

i agree. i like the country twang she has in a lot of the originals.

I think most of the TV are actually better but there are some cases (Holy Ground, You're Not Sorry, The Lucky One, WANEGBT) where Scooter's version>>>

some songs are better on the new version so i still do it. 

I think speak now could be better (the original seems too clean in some songs, cause the label wanted this kind of sound, i think the sound can be more dirty pop rock for most songs like it happened for some of red..like state of grace)...i have no hype for 1989 or rep. I think I will stream only the originals like i already do with wildest dreams.

Honestly all of her re-recordings are superior with the exception of WANEGBT, IKYWT & 22, so I don't use those three at all lol.

 

She just wasn't able to capture the quality of the original production. No ma'am. I guess Max Martin truly is a pop genius. 

 

PS: I'm worried the same would happen for 1989 and Rep and I've thought that's the reason why she's taking so long with those albums.

True. Although I do believe Wildest Dreams TV is almost as good as the original. There isn't such a big gap with that one.

Was there a reason she couldn't work with Max for the re-recordings? It's not like she's short of a bob or two
