Both have around the Total EAS on Chartmasters, but who has the bigger career overall?
Take into account the following factors: hit singles, albums sold, touring, awards, iconic moments, and streaming.

I'd say it's an interesting comparison, because what one lacks in one area, the other makes up.

Chartmasters is not a legitimate source. 

 

Shakira demolishes Pink in streaming stats and also in terms of acclaim and networth. Her classics are definitely more recognizable too. 

 

But P!nk sold more albums, sold more digital downloads, eradicates Shakira in touring. 

 

In terms of globalness, it depends on the country. Pink is way way bigger than Shakira in Oceania, for example.

Pink can actually sell albums and singles unlike Shakira who relies on free streams and views. She’s also way more consistent with hits. Sold 5 million more albums in Europe whee Shakira is supposedly huge there.

Shakira had the bigger peak in France but Pink has been outselling her there since 2002 except in 2010 with the Spanish album. And she didn’t have the bigger peak either. Laundry Service and Missundazstood sold the same and it had more hits. 

The way Intuition and TheHiveMind formed an alliance in an attempt to drag Shakira and they still failed repeatedly. 

All these set-up threads that keep on backfiring.

Pink hasn’t updated their certs since release year. TTAL sold platinum in 2012 alone and was charting up until 2014. I’m Not Dead charted for 90 weeks and Funhouse over 2 years too. Their sales are according to chartmasters
