I stan mariah and gaga, but a lot of monsters on this site drag everyone for no reason, unprovoked. it's really odd. I'd also say swifties do a lot of the same, you can't even make a comment about her without them bringing up her sales to invalidate your opinion.

Yeah, no. I can't stand Britney or Katy, am a casual fan of Madonna, and am Hive but not in a way that has anything to do with Gaga. Y'al just continually rub people the wrong way because of the insecurity and weird aggression  I joined atrl as mainly a Lana stan right after Artpop era and it was wild to see Liddos attacking everyone and claiming delusional thinks like your last paragraph. Imagine thinking Gaga is a threat to Madonna's legacy when her music career basically lasted three years with a blip resurgence of Shallow. 

A very vocal minority of LMs were extremely caustic towards Ava Max during Heaven & Hell. I still don't understand why. Their fave was campaigning for Oscars, and can barely be bothered with pop music anymore. Why come for a rookie artist on her first album? Was it the blonde wig? 

 

I used to be a pretty big LM myself, but seeing how they went in criticizing a brand new artist really pushed me away.

I don't think an entire fanbase hates my faves though. I've only seen selected members here being deranged, delusional, and borderline psychotic towards Mariah, Gaga, and Britney, the latter getting lots of hate lately.  It seriously bothers me to see hardcore fans of the artists I love fighting with each other, especially when Mariah, Gaga, and Britney love each other like. What's the point? 

I don’t think any have animosity towards Imagine Dragons, Paramore, Evanescence or Smash Into Pieces but Christina Aguilera fans seem to hate Avril on here. 

For Gaga: Used to be Britney fans, now it's Beyonce fans. 

Madonna and Katy Perry stans.

 

Beyhive is somewhere on the list as well.

From my own experience and from what I've seen from Twitter when I was on other stans' groupchats:

 

- Katycats were/are jealous of Gaga's acclaim. It's understandable considering their favourite has zero Grammys.

- Britney stans are jealous of Gaga's current relevance and immense talent. It's comprehensible too seeing how their fave dropped since 2011. 

- Britney stans also hold a grudge against Christina because she has a lot more talent and INFLUENCE than their fav, it's something that sales can't buy. As Britney said, she might just dream of having a voice like Christina's.

- I have the impression that Beyhive feels threatened by Gaga too because even if it is true that the first one has a bigger career, the last one has acquired SO MUCH considering that she started in 2008. They always feel compelled to belittle her success.
