Britney doesn't have a team, is she the only MPG whose streams are truly organic?

Featured Replies

We all know artists teams main goal is to increase their success, be it by spotify deals, push for tiktok trends, and so on.

Britney knowingly doesn't have an actual team, and she said she's not likely to get one. So is it safe to say that she's the only MPG with truly organic streams? 🤔

Yeah, she literally doesn't even have a manager right now and only has her friend Cade acting as her manager :deadbanana2:

Well, yes! She doesn't resort to streaming tactics like other artists such as playlists or "chapters" that boost streams! She is just naturally iconic and successful without gimmicks.

There are some labels that are generally organic because they don’t invest, like RCA.

It’s why you can’t compare their streams to fake ones from the likes of Republic and what-not.

Yes. And that only shows just how her catalogue is full of actual pop masterpieces

somehow during the first decade of her career she managed to record real pop classics and build a very solid discography

the run from BOMT to Femme Fatale is perfection, she have great taste when it comes to music and knows what works for her and what not.

Britney is a pop genius, kinda like Taylor and Lana Del Rey.

They might not have the most conventionally powerful voices but when it comes to their OWN craft, they shine.

is she still signed to a label? i wonder if all her contracts are still going or they let her be free

There’s beeb some divisive opinions regarding this. Allegedly she still has B10 under contract. But there’s also been rumors that they’re just planning on releasing an unreleased songs compilation album and this would count as B10.

I honestly don’t know what to think.

Yes, her streaming numbers are good considering she hasn’t a team behind her, only pop classic that people tend to go back to.

So who put HMC on TTH and kept it on for 5 months, long after it fell off the top 200?

Literally Elton's team, not even prior to FreeBritney would Britney team be so useful as to add one of her songs to TTH

Hm, one may guess that it could be Elton's team!

Elton’s team, since it’s his song? Doesn’t take much to figure that out sis.

Damn ma, it takes one braincell to realize that maybe it was the other featured artist's team. And the song left TTH before Christmas, making it less than 4 months in the playlist. Not even basic math?

The drag.

It's difficult to determine whether Britney Spears is the only Musician/Performer/Group (MPG) with truly organic streams, as there are many factors that contribute to the popularity of an artist and their streams.

While it is true that Britney Spears has stated that she doesn't have an actual team, it's important to note that she has a record label and distribution company that help promote and distribute her music. Additionally, social media platforms and streaming services themselves also play a significant role in promoting and recommending artists to listeners.

Furthermore, there are many other factors that can contribute to an artist's popularity and success, such as their talent, style, image, and personal brand. Even if an artist doesn't have a traditional team, they may still have a network of supporters and collaborators who help them create and promote their music.

In summary, while Britney Spears may have a more independent approach to her music career, it's difficult to say whether she is the only MPG with truly organic streams, as there are many factors that contribute to an artist's success.

:toofunny2: maybe if we're only talking about Hold Me Closer but even so, Elton John has a team that could've pushed that one. All her actual hits and iconic songs are from when she definitely had a team/machine behind her, hence how the public even knows those songs. People aren't all of the sudden gonna stop streaming classics like Baby One More Time, Toxic, etc. just because she's semi-retired and has no team anymore. People will seek out and listen to iconic hits, whether they're playlisted or not.
