I actually really love this song. It drags on a bit near the end but I still love how modern it sounds. It had a respectable peak of #7 in my country

I thought it was speculated to be a single consideration, but I didn't know it was actually a plan. Ugh, Migrate was such a smash waiting to happen...  

 

Bye Bye is cute, but a bit forgettable. It's unfortunate too because there were so many potential singles on the album like I'm That Chick, Side Effects, and For the Record.

Do you think that after 18 years of her career with tremendous success and critical acclaim, she would have worried a lot about her career at that point? I'm sure she made this beautiful music video as a personal choice and I applaud her for that. With that angelic voice, 19 # 1 hits, massive album sales, success and a xmas smash every year, she really has nothing left to prove.

The song drags and ruined the momentum of that era along with her marriage to Nick, but surprisingly our local artists have copied the melody several times.

This song basically killed the hype for her comeback that had started with It's Like That 

They thought it’s gonna be a One Sweet Day moment. I don’t dislike the songs but the lyrics are low key creepy.

 

Migrate was THE song to be released as second single.
