Other than both being canadian I don't see any similarities tbh, Shania has had an amazing career but Celine's is simply bigger

Celine is bigger than Shania in every country outside of the US I’m sure. African and a Caribbean aunties stan her music so hard  which is extremely rare for white Pop artists. 

I feel Shania's "You're Still the One" is bigger than Céline's "Because You Loved Me" but Céline is bigger in the other categories.

Celine for all but Shania’s hits are big too.

I prefer Shania’s output more but voted Celine for all 3. Celine was inescapable in the 90’s, my and likely your grandmothers were standing hard and purchasing the CD’s.

Shania was huge and inescapable but it was only over 1 album cycle unlike Celine.

Here's a song titled "Goodbye's (The Saddest Word) by Céline Dion, where Shania Twain did the backing vocals. It was written by Shania's ex-husband.

Definitely Celine for all. She had a much bigger career as well.
