It has just come to my attention that Jay Z and Beyoncé started dating when she was 19. Jay Z was 31. That is a 12 year age difference.

 

As someone who was once 19 I don’t know what I would have in common with a 31 year old, let alone feeling like I should date one. This raises a concern for me that a grooming scenario might’ve been at play.
