Why can I see this being possible. I agree something is off about Dylan.

As far as Dylan, Dylan is a right wing puppet. Something about Dylan seems sinister. I think the truth will leak sooner or later on them.

Sis you're literally looking up content from white nationalists. :skull:

LGBT acceptance is greater than ever and Gen Z is both queerer and more accepting of queer people than any previous generation. TERFs, Conservatives, the Manosphere and the Religious Right are loud cause they need to convince you that the reality around you is wrong and their propaganda is right.

This :lakitu:

People can blast anti-woke nonsense as much as they want, but actual views on social issues have majority support. What's happening in America is largely astroturfed political theatre that has incredibly loud, but overtly minority support.

Purely anecdotal, but I have multiple older coworkers, who are staunch conservatives in a deep red area of Florida. They love Trump, they love DeSantis, they also have moderate views on gays. They may not understand pronouns or have warped views on what's going on in schools, but they don't have an issue with trans or queer identities and see it as freedom for people to live as they choose.

*clicks video in the OP*

*random white teenager starts going off about LGBT people*

*someone instantly boos him*

*video cuts to same kid then complaining about the police wearing pink pro-LGBT hats and shirts*

*more shots of teenage boys being interviewed and shouted over by counter-protests waving the trans flag*

*revealed that the main white guy is not even a student at the academy but a right-wing grifter who has "a media team" who helped him organize his "protest" of stonewall pink day and "who helped pass out bibles"*

*final interview cuts to some old woman who was part of the anti-vaxx Freedom Convoy*

For most sure, but it’s not offensive to compare the experiences of an LGBT person to a POC person or a woman. All groups have struggled.

here we go :juanny:

"the new ___" downplays the oppression of what poc do face. lgbtq are not the "new" anything in terms of hate. the two struggles are valid but one will never understand the other if ur not poc.

The only people to blame for these attacks is the far right not trans people or companies with trans spokespeople. It is an issue to worry about for sure but it’s more reason to live our truth and protect all our communities especially trans people who are getting the brunt of it right now. Young generations know this is BS.

I have an answer but it would get me a ZTP perm ban really fast.

Let me just say the US would be better off  as a one party nation under Democratic socialism but this has never been pulled off in any country in history, sadly

I never once claimed in the OP that there were DROVES of protesters that showed up for that particular anti-drag demonstration. My main concern was with the number of comments heralding the protesters as "heroes trying to fight the 'oppressive' left."  Although, that is to be expected in a far right nobody's content, to be fair. But I just know, deep down, that there's an unsettling  number of people out there that echo the same sentiments, and whose numbers seem to be increasing overnight amidst this whole gender ideology debate.

Mind you, these types of comments that echo a collective LGBT fatigue & backlash aren't just isolated to right wing media comment sections, but in the likes of NBC news. I guess I neglected to bring this up in the OP.

The public opinion on gay/lesbian/bisexual people is not going backwards; most western countries have reached a point where more people support LGB rights than not.

When it comes to trans rights and the whole debate over gender which is all current right now, LGB people are moreso guilty by association. I wouldn't say people are becoming homophobes all of a sudden, rather homophobes are just using trans rights as a scapegoat to try and push back on LGBT rights as a whole. This whole debate is also encouraging the minority to be more vocal rather than the idea that the minority itself is growing

Those people have nothing important to do with their time. They are chronically online, spewing their hatred on Twitter, Facebook, Youtube. It's a relatively small group of very vocal people with very strong (uneducated, dumb) opinions. People who support LGBT or those who are at least indifferent to LGBT do not comment as much because why would they? This might make you think most people are against LGBT, but it's not true. Just look at the statistics people have posted in here.

Everyone has such extremist views nowadays. Gender ideology being discussed on a mainstream level rattled the Conservatives, and it was such an easy thing to twist into this negative misinformed narrative they cling to. That's why I never understood why some people within the LGBTQ+ community started attacking the gender ideology movement. What did they think was next? Being the "antiwoke" gay isn't getting you a get out of jail free card. We are all one in the same to them, and we need unity more than ever with each other, because we are all fighting for the same liberties at the end of the day, and if they came for one of our subgroups, they are coming for all of us. We really need to look out for and support and fight for each other, regardless of what you identify as in terms of gender or sexuality.

trans people fighting for rights isn't "gender ideology" thats a term conservatives invented to dehumanise trans people :rip:

sometimes I'm concerned too, the radical right is taking advantage of all the hate for what they call "gay agenda" to brainwash people who is just indifferent to the LGBT+ community , using children as their flags.

and the fiasco of left parties around the world doesn't help. :chick3:
