With Future Nostalgia laying the groundwork for Dua becoming a household name in the US, will she score a #1 album there with DL3?

maybe. depends on who else is releasing around that time more than anything else. I think she has potential to do 100-120k SPS with the right rollout. (Which would be a 50-80% improvement on Future Nostalgia's opening week)

If she releases during the right week and has a smash I can see it happening for her 

 

But I don't want to speak too soon as to jinx it, let's just wait to see what the material will be

Of course, if she releases in a good week. I doubt she will be pulling better numbers than Miley, but those weren’t bad numbers, so unless she has bad timing as well then sure. You can get a #1 album with 80k units in some weaker weeks.

It all comes down to competition, unless you are someone who is guaranteed to pull massive numbers first week, which makes predictions on this hard to do.

of course, she had Don't Start Now, Levitating and Cold Heart in her last era. the things are looking amazing for her.

But for real i think she can do 100k first week if she has a solid first single and smooth rollout. She deserves a #1 album, Future Nostalgia was so good, even more so if you consider what an uncohesive mess het debut was. 

I think so. Her ceiling would probably be around 180k and her floor would be like 90k (all depending obvi). Depends on the week.

Dua Lipa is the new queen of pop that the straights love. She will only get bigger 

It entirely depends on when she releases.  If she releases the same week as a major artist like Taylor or Drake, the answer is no.  However if she picks a quiet week she stands a chance.

No, she won’t get one outside the UK/Ireland. 

No, noone is interested in Dua Lipa music unless it comes up on a playlist or on the radio.

I see about a 100k debut which will most likely not be enough for #1. Who knows tho.

I would say yes because she could so something around 110k, but if there's too much competition she could get blocked just like Lana, Melanie, Miley, etc

She doesn't have a fanbase in US yet ... So not many ppl will buy physicals or stream non-single album tracks

I think she should. Probably not if she releases like same week at someone like Drake/Taylor/Adele. But as long as it’s not big competition I don’t see why not - she’s coming off a huge era
