The negative reaction on the name has really been strong. I wonder if they’ll give in and rename it back to HBO Max to save face.

Overall, I'm not as upset by this move as I thought I would. So long as HBO Max content will continue to exist I am okay with it. My one hope is that the clean-look and ease of HBO Max translates into Max.
