Archetype Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 I’ve been in good shape for my entire life and will continue to do so until I’m too old to move.
SlowGinFizzzz Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 (edited) I've had the exact same weight for over ten years and it doesn't really change no matter what or how much I eat or whether I work out or not (and I'm quite happy with my twink body tbh). However, I got laser hair removal on my entire upper body, I think my muscles have gotten a little bit more defined, and I found a hairstyle that suits me better than the one I used to have before. So no, definitely not missing my "old" body. The only thing that annoys me is that I recently started finding the odd grey hair, but since I've been dying my hair for years anyway, it's honestly not that big a deal for me. 305 Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 Yes, at the start of covid I was very focused on fitness as that was the only thing I could actually control in my life during that crazy time. But since I got covid at the beginning of last year, long covid hit me hard and I would get exhausted by doing the simplest things so I stopped going to the gym. I recently started my fitness journey again and I'm looking forward to seeing results
OnikaSlays Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 (edited) i lost about 40 lbs over the last couple years, which took me from overweight to “normal”. however, the body dysmorphia from my childhood/teen years still kicks my ass to this day. Edited April 11, 2023 by OnikaSlays
kandicha Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 yeah I’ve been trying to lose the weight I gained after COVID and go back to my pre-COVID body
Khal Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 Nope. My body is probably in the best shape it’s ever been. Gained some weight during the pandemic and said never again
theoghon Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 I haven't felt the same since I was c*********d at 11 y.o., the feels especially took a toll on me during the pandemic and I've come to the conclusion that I'm permanently scarred
ATRL Moderator madonnas Posted April 11, 2023 ATRL Moderator Posted April 11, 2023 Yes but I always fluctuate. I kinda peaked body wise last year at 29 but gained like 10 lbs. I keep saying I’m gonna lose it but have a hard time saying no to certain foods
Iyanla, Fix Me Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 A year ago I was in the gym and a lot more active but then summer came and I never really went back. Overall my body now is better than when I was a teenager but I never really hit my personal goals to “miss” where I was. I have a great body but if I could just eat better and exercise I’d be ******* hot. I have a lil tummy and it’s not in the best way. I still pull Fine niggas tho
imabadkid Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 (edited) I’m still a skinny legend tbh but I was always someone who had a fast metabolism but I’ve noticed as I’ve gotten older that it’s slowed down so I go to the gym 3 or 4 times a week whereas I used to only go once or twice a week. So.. what now Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 yes, i miss my 55kg self back in the day. but the diet and the rules i’ve made was unbearable for the present me.
Bacardo Royale Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 I'm still a skinny legend but I miss my old hairline
John Slayne Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 no, i've looked the same for the past 10 years
M.R. Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 My body is better looking now than before (I exercise regularly compared to ignoring the gym) but what I actually miss is having no grey hair (especially in my beard) and normal hairline. The last few years have been rough and stress really took a toll on me.
XxxKatyCatxxX Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 No. I'm the same weight and shape since forever.
Joyride Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 yes :/ because of the surgery and me switching meds I gained a beautiful 12 pounds and I can't seem to get rid of it, I can't go to the gym either bc I'm not allowed to, but if I did a little excercise I'm sure I'd drop it fast
ChrisTheLoner Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 (edited) I've always been a skinny legend but I became slightly overweight during the pandemic in early 2021 so I definitely know the feeling But in November 2021 after I got fired from a stressful job I began a journey to lose the weight. I'm 6'1 and I went from about 195 pounds back then to 168-170 pounds now, basically almost entirely back to form. So it is definitely possible to lose it, you just have to be more active and be good with moderation when it comes to food. I'm glad I bounced back because I feel a lot more confident and sexy in my own body again now. You can get back to it if you work at it Edited April 12, 2023 by ChrisTheLoner
Heidi Montag Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 When i was 18 i was really chubby and at some point weighed 95kg. But then at 19 i got thyroid issues which significantly sped up my metabolism and made me lose almost all the exces weight. I do not miss my chubby days at all since i felt so miserable and unattractive. When i got a healthy weight / skinny i finally got the confidence i allways wanted. I did start new medication at the start of the year and i realised 3 weeks ago i gained weight and looked kinda out of shape. So my confidence kinda tanked. Hoping to get in shape again in time for summer
Jotham Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 No. I was a lot skinnier back in high school and the first half of college. I've gained weight since then due to weightlifting and my diet, and prefer my new body type more. The only thing I don't like is that my body is an awkward state where I'm short but have a stockier body so it's never easy to find the right shirt size for my body.
Johnny Jacobs Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 No Considering my current body looks much better

And it's kinda annoying because I'm skinny like a teenager which does not look good when you 29 It doesn't matter what I eat - my body never changes. I used to be the same. If you want to gain weight I suggest tracking your calories for a couple of weeks. You'll probably be shocked at how little you're actually eating. I used to eat like 1600 calories a day but I was convinced I was eating loads. Once you have a better idea of how much you're eating you can start to gradually increase it by increasing portion sizes/adding in a couple of extra small meals.
Goaty Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 No. My body has steadily improved over the last few years. Got up to 210lbs in October and now I’ve cut down to 175lbs - I look and feel great.
