Isn't Ariana filming two movies right now? I'd say she's more likely to release an album once she's done filming.

Ariana hasnt said a peep about new music for a bit now 2024 might be the earliest and it still depends on the reception of Wicked.

definitely Ariana. It hasn't even been that long since she released music, people are just used to artists releasing so frequently. I have a feeling she'll release an album next year or the year after

I was pretty sure Rih was going to release this year but with being pregnant again I doubt it. I wish she'd just give us an EP or something

It’s only been 2.5 years since Ariana’s last album (which was dropped in relatively quick succession of the 2 prior), which already isn’t anything crazy, *plus* she’s done multiple high profile collabs since then. Several of which hit number 1. Arianas also someone that’s always been known to love music; music was simply a necessary chore to Rihanna. 
 

If Ariana weren’t doing Wicked, we’d probably already have her next album. Even with her doing it, we know with certainly that she’ll at least release an album sometime in the next couple years. The same can’t be said for Rihanna

It may not be as big as Fenty etc but Ariana's perfume have crossed 1B in sales a couple of years ago and they're going strong strong, she earned more from that than all her tours combined, so..

I’m which world this comparison make sense to you? Rihanna is a MOGUL with multiple successful business branches and two babies.
