I'm sorry but as an Android user (I suggested S23 Ultra on my post as you seen) suggesting an iPhone user an OPPO would be the WORST thing ever. Like it's such a setup. iPhone users should only try flagship Galaxy devices and nothing else.

I judge anyone who has a Galaxy or any Android and feel like they are really old or poor

How is someone with a $700-1000 phone poor?

Maybe if they buy the knock off $100 phone or something

iPhone. apple's security alone >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I use both for work and iPhone shits on Galaxy. The hardware looks better and more sturdy (which it also is), the UI/UX is incomparable (Android feels ancient tbh), and while each camera has its own pros and cons I like apple’s better as it looks less digitally enhanced and captures data better.

In fact we are considering disposing of the android units for Google phones, we are starting trials with a batch this quarter.

Girl just wait for the 15 Pro. You get the only 3nm chip on the market that devours every Android (someone lied here, the 14 Pro’s A16 is superior to a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 besides the GPU), a major battery efficiency upgrade due to that, USB-C, titanium sides, smallest bezels, etc.

Video on the 14 Pro is better than the Galaxy, Galaxy has better stills despite them faking their moon shots :skull:, battery is about equal, Apple’s ecosystem is just unmatched, and you’re likely to get sideloading soon anyway. :rip:

Edit:  I actually have qualms with the 14 Pro’s standard camera settings. I absolutely loathe the post-processing HDR. It’s only worth it for stills when using their 48mp ProRAW mode, and then it’s fine. Pixels trump both in this area anyway, although I believe the S23 Ultra have the most well rounded camera.

Are you over the age of 16? If so, act like it.

OT:

Anyways, try and see if you can test both phones and see what’s the better option for you. I have an iPhone 13 pro max after just switching from android and there’s definitely some things that I miss about Android and there’s some things that I love about Apple. It’s all just based on things you REALLY want in a phone and some things you don’t mind sacrificing

Are you 12?

As for OP, Galaxy in my opinion but it comes down to what you prefer in a phone. If you feel like you are more comfortable with how iPhone works then go for it! Right now I am using the S23 and I am beyond satisfied with it.

Personally I could never adapt to Apple devices, I had to use a Mac for work and it was torture.

Terminally online ATRLers will tell you that anything other than the latest iPhone will make you look poor and dirty so I wouldn't look for an honest advice here

That being said, I never liked Samsung phones and have owned several in the past. Perhaps their flagships are better

I been an iPhone user for like 10+ years now.

Just buy the S23 Ultra. Better than 14 Pro Max on every area possible including camera. also has the best and most efficient chip on an Android so far for the first time in years, it passes 14 Pro Max on battery tests and that never happened before. It also gets system updates LONGER than a Google Pixel, with 4 years of Android updates and 5 years of security updates. One UI is also much better and less buggy than Google's stock UI.

Took these today with 100x zoom:

Gorgeous shot, I am obsessed with astrophotography.

iPhone, of course.

It has the better OS, better camera (especially video) and better build quality. Also, if you change your phones often - your iPhone will not lose value nearly as much as Android phones do which means you will get more money back when you're ready to upgrade.

Also, Samsung's 100x is literally just a filter :ahh:

Did you actually bother to watch the video you posted or? :deadbanana2:

You're comparing an unlaunched phone with S23 Ultra. S24 Ultra will compete against iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Video is the ONLY part Apple is still better than flagship Samsung's on the camera area.

iPhone 14 Pro Max still has HDR blowout issues, with washed out whites and blacks, they haven't fixed that since the phone CAME OUT. Apple mostly doesn't touch their camera firmware with the updates after the phone launches, but flagship Galaxy devices cameras always get even better throughout the months because they keep fixing every camera related issue with updates instead of not touching it. Taking a picture with a bright background etc are still horrible on latest iPhone's since they have new lenses and they didn't do the HDR software well, but instead of easily fixing it they're just waiting for iPhone 15 lmao.

People talking about the “better build quality” never held an S Ultra in their hands I guess. It's literally like a tank. So tired of people that used S3 Mini 48295883 years ago and still talk about their experiences based on phones like that. :rip:

The 15 Pro is in the same 2023 release year as the S23 Ultra. If we’re using that excuse to not compare, then it does not make sense to compare to a 14 Pro. I only recommended not to upgrade when we’re approaching the next flagship release in a few months. :rip:

and when people are talking about “better build quality”, they’re referring to the stainless steel chassis, frosted glass on the back that adds to the weight of the phone which ARE more premium materials.

I say go with the one you like best?

I personally use iphone only bc I like the ease of use that comes with it and I have other apple products so the communication between them is important to me. However, every phone has its pros and cons. I won't kiss ass to apple bc my iphone sometimes drives me crazy when it decides to freeze on me... their build quality is great, but ios can sometimes be messy too.

I don't even use the camera on my phone so I could honestly care less about it :celestial6:

And not because its an Android I just don't really take photos

Been using androids for 15 years I don't think I could use an iPhone.

My issue is they removed the speaker jack I don't know if I wanna go past my Galaxy S9 now, I may have to switch to a phone that still has the jack as I can't deal with Bluetooth ear buds

Ironically, the flagships for Samsung are in the same price range as a top line iPhone, some capacities are worth hundreds of dollars more, even.

It's not. Go educate yourself or don't talk about false facts thinking they're correct lmfao. You can literally take the same pics from other apps which shows the lens is actually capable of it. You can also take the same pic with turning off AI enhancements etc from settings. What it does is it just uses AI to make it look even better and as the name says “enhance” it. I wonder what will sheeps like you say when iPhone 15 or maybe 16 (lmao) also gets AI features on their cameras or a dedicated optical 10x telephoto lens instead of just a 3x one :rip:

Combining these perfect optical lenses with the powerful AI is not the same thing as faking. If that was the case your iPhone is also faking your pics with HDR (and failing at it too).

An unlocked, 1TB Z Fold 4 is still selling for $2159.99 btw; didn't know iPhones had gone up to that kind of value. :bird:

I went from a 12 Pro Max - Z Flip 3 - Z Fold 4 last year and I don't think I'll ever go back to a regular candy bar design so I'm forced to say Android for now. We'll see how Apple gets into the foldable market in about 5 years.

1. There's nothing wrong with being old or poor.

2. The general sentiment of this comment is really pathetic.
