I have the same feeling... Mixed feelings and XT4S1S was better. I like this new era of Danna, more dancing, more pop, she's very talented but sometimes I think she loses yourself a little bit.

It is a bop but it's no XT4S1S. Also the vocal production sounds off. I hate the video (cause I hate tour videos). 

 

It's weird cause the beat is so dance/EDM but it is also very slow, if that makes sense.

 

The bridge is everything though.

 

Overall I like this direction I just hope the album doesn't take forever to come out.

Love this new track!! Good follow up after XT4S1S definitely. Not as good as XT4S1S but it's very cute!

I read on twitter that song song wasn’t even supposed to come out that it was a tour exclusive but fans were demanding it so they changed the production and released it.

First song of her's I enjoy in a while - definitely here for her going the pop route.

 

I think her biggest issue right now is a lack of branding. Her music was just kind of all over the place and she wasn't able to establish any kind of brand to what she actually stands for. People just threw her into the bunch of other latin singers like Becky G, Natti Natasha etc.

I really like this, a solid bop. deserved a proper music video though.

well that's moreso because she had something to prove after underperforming with several singles. with that song being a hit she went to the drawing board to build upon that sound so theirs more confidence in the material that she's releasing now. this just came out and is well received. while i do agree that i hope promo is lined up and that this deserved a better video let's just be happy that we got a great song and an album on the way.

loosing herself is a strange way of putting it when it's actually kind of refreshing to see a popgirl work hard and be hungry to put in the work and put out quality. she clearly loves what she does and does it with passion which makes it that much more easier to support her.

tht;s actually not true because it's not like she was making generic reggaeton music like the other girls until her droplets before xstasis. it was pretty obvious after the way that elite took off that her music has been centered around her character on that show. down to incorporating quotes and dialogues and that being the brand and persona. danna and becky on one song would be a moment
