Tropez Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 Not surprised this happened in the US. Racism in entrenched in all aspects of society. Down to the fact that even having a name that doesn’t sound white enough will have your job application denied. There’s even solid proof that blacks have it worse than white criminals when seeking jobs.
Bosque Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 I’m sorry but [White] kinda sent me. Also not them blaming a junior recruiter for It
Into The Void Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 it says its an ex employee who posted it through their personal account Quote 7h Provides important context · Directly addresses the Tweet’s claim FromAG LinkedIn page: “This job posting was neither authorized nor posted by Arthur Grand or its employees. A former employee took an existing posting and added discriminatory language, then reposted it through his own account... getBusy Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 I'm ready for the ATRL Trumpists to post their "fReeDoM Of SpeEcH" nonsense

A few weeks before that, another one was a combination of Hispanics, Asians, and Black. I didn’t see one white staff member, but then again, I live in a super diverse area.
shinyshimmery Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 That's wild. Their response was so bad too... holding that one junior recruiter accountable, but not the company as a whole... smdh.
TaggedGalaxy Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 Not surprised, it's well known that companies reject applications of POC especially if they have non-white names

Desire Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 Not surprised at all but still super disgusting at least that helps POCs avoid that company at all costs now
dussel_06 Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 Well, the US is pretty racist itself given they only give 85,000 working visas every year for foreign applicants. It would take extreme luck to get a working visa there.

Oktober Knight Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 They way they imply only US born citizens are all white.
