That show is so ******* unfunny to me, the very definition of white mediocrity :rip: since this forum is full of sycophantic gays they'll all act like it's goodbor whatever just because it does numbers

For the era it was produced and the stability it’s been having on streaming, I’d say it’s doing pretty well. Of course, some of the jokes were out there and they wouldn’t be received well nowadays, but it was a different time.

Yep. From the shows of its era, it’s easily aged the best.

totally disagree. seinfeld and frasier, while both being more visually dated, both feel waaay more modern in their humor and dialogue. friends survives based on the strength of the cast's chemistry but the joke writing is SO sitcom'd and dated.

literally no other show from that time period holds up as well as friends does even if some of the jokes didn't age well. that's why the show has so much continued success nearly 30 years later

it’s aged perfectly, there’s a reason why it’s still among the most watched shows

Seems so considering its staying power. The McDonald's of sitcoms tbh.

It obviously has its issues but the fact it's still so popular, is the go to series for learning English and we're still talking about it shows it's aged well.

Yes. It's still as popular 30 years later

It has some not-so-good moments because of how times have changed, but it held up really well honestly. And it's one thing to say you don't like it but it's another to say it didn't age well when it has transcended generations. Love it or hate it, it's the quintessential sitcom of the past 30 years.

What a great show and very happy to discover and watch it (multiple times!).

No show from that time has aged as well as Friends. Hence why it remains so unbelievably popular

Obviously. Their annual viewership is even higher than some of the shows that are currently popular on social media.
