You kinda reminded me I miss having gay friends. Straight ppl can be so chill and predictable that it’s kinda boring and then ppl in the closet are always holding themselves back from their queer interests that we bond over. I have coworkers that are in glass closets that won’t gush over things I know they want to cuz they think it’s too femme

my straight friends try all sort of things with me and i say yes everytime

This is the most genuine response I've come across on this forum in quite some time

My best friend is a cute straight guy and it’s basically like we’re dating. We do everything together, he always calls and texts me, we go on break together at work, he buys me food, he put together my new bed and hung my TV for me. He’s genuinely just really good to me.

I love this. I have a number of straights like this as well, one in particular who is like my #1 bestie, and when they're good to you they're GOOD to you. It's so nice and a complete 180 from the way I was treated by their kind back in the 90s lol

It's wild this thread was posted because I'm going through a situation at the moment and it's lowkey leading me to depression :rip:

I'm in love (romantically) with one of the guys I used to work with (I only quit the job this week) and I know he loves me back but it's definitely in a platonic way :monkey: whenever I spend time with him for me it feels like we're in a romantic relationship but obviously to him it's just two friends hanging out.

I'm pretty sure if I was to push the boundaries when we were both drunk he would let me kiss him or give him a little sucky sucky but I'm trying my best to respect him and his significant other (he's in a long distance relationship with a girl). The wild thing is I'm pretty sure he's trying to **** one of our female colleagues :rip:

At the moment I'm sure he doesn't realise how much I like him and I hope it doesn't ruin our friendship if/when he does :doc: maybe I should just take the plunge and eat his ass

Did you eat his ass yet?

Why not make a move and see where it goes? Them being into women doesn't mean they're not into homo stuff too. You know what they like, not what they don't.

As someone who had a huge crush on my coworker... Don't :/

I had to quit my job after he found out about my crush and it became too awkward between us, plus the gossip among other colleagues :/

Not only did I laugh out loud, but I appreciated the honesty of this comment. It's true. Unless you live in Ron DeSantis-territory, being gay is not a dealbreaker for most people with half a brain who just want friends.
