I did not because I don't expect anything back this year. I only file ASAP if I know I'm getting a good refund. I always use TurboTax.

I use Tax Slayer and no I haven’t done it because I have ten different tax forms I have to sort through and haven’t had the time yet

Yes. I I’ve TurboTax. Tried using FreeFile through the IRS, but it’s just way too ******* long and TurboTax just makes everything so damn easy and smooth I can’t deny. I’m a TurboTax ***** even though they’re expensive.

Still collecting my refund! The government is so cute when she gives us back the money she stole from us! :jonny6:

filed and used up that refund money ages ago

Not yet, I’ve been so busy at work and drained after work.

But I always use TurboTax which has been quick and painless so I’m not worried about getting it done before April 18.

I recommend using FreeTaxUSA :bird: it’s simple, effective and FREE :clap3:

I used turbotax and had to buy the higher version of it bc I have more than the typical w2, and they dont let you use the basic version for that. Still paid less than when I go to a tax preparer. I owed the govt this year :deadbanana2:

Me spending $200 on TurboTax for the fourth year because I’m a lazy ass

I did them back in early February. I use FreeTaxUSA. They’re great and affordable (federal taxes are free, state taxes are $15 for them to send on your behalf).

I personally think FreeTaxUSA is easier to use than TurboTax. TurboTax has this issue of not being upfront with how they’re gonna charge you. The one time I used it, I was told it would be free and then they were asking for $200 after I spent 2 hours filling in all the forms and at that point I felt goaded into paying it because I just wanted to not worry about it. So yeah, I don’t recommend them at all.

1 for ACA healthcare and 9 jobs yes

I had two full time jobs that gave me three forms (two forms were at a school I subbed at)

I also work on the weekends doing gig work basically, so the other six forms are from all the locations I worked at twice or more in the year

I quickly filled it out on TurboTax and saw that I owed so I'm waiting til the very last week.  I'm tired of this, grandpa.

I live in a tax free country so thankfully I don’t have to deal with that ****.

oh sh*t thank you for the reminder :jonny4: I need to do it this week

Yes I always file as soon as I can because my tax returns take FOREVER to come through since I became a student. Turbo Tax is everything - it's legit fool-proof.

I didn't have much to do this year, thankfully, so I just did it asap in February when I got my W2. I just did TurboTax this year because it was free since I had very little to do this year but I wanna move to FreeTaxUSA moving forward.

I had to pay a good chunk this year and was pissed :rip: Remedying that this year by taking more deductibles from my paycheck thank YOU.

FreeTaxUSA is just as easy and cheaper, there's really no reason to stick with TurboTax. I switched a couple years ago and didn't look back
