No. But their addictions should not be normalized or encouraged as being acceptable There are so many stupid people here, ISTG. You are correct, poster you responded to is whacked.
Bacardo Royale Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 Not exactly "friends" but I don't mind doing the whole meth group sex thing every few months, I don't buy it just join the party. The high is amazing like you wouldn't believe (especially slamming) but the comedowns are awful for me and not worth it anymore. I'd rather do coke and feel back to normal the next day And not everyone that does meth/T is an addict , just like not everyone who drinks is alcoholic. Just saying

Yeah I met a doctor who's a functioning meth addict, he's been doing it over a decade (Injecting it !!) and you would never know looking at him. Normal teeth, looks in his 20s even though he's 40 something, guess that meth look is just a stereotype
Cyanide Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 I don’t think so or not that I know of? Omg But one time I met this guy from Grindr and when he got to my door he asked if he could smoke his stuff inside my house and I said no and he immediately shut down and walked away
PoisonedIvy Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 It might be naive of me but anytime someone says they do meth I excuse myself from the conversation/their presence. It just scares me too much. Idk
Bacardo Royale Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 Not someone on grindr inviting me to do T right after I post here. I'm tempted to go unfortunately that's the gay drug of choice 80% of the time, as if there aren't other drugs out there

nadiamendell Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 Thankfully none of my friends have gotten involved in this and hopefully it stays that way.

I been hearing so many horror stories about Coke and Overdoses lately cause is laced with fentanyl. Is always good to have a narcan kit-naloxone if u do coke. This is a great article honey. Must read. https://edition.cnn.com/2023/03/23/health/fentanyl-heroin-opioids-naloxone-wellness/index.html

Nobody that has done meth for 10 years is looking 20 years younger than their age. Not even with Botox, fillers and all the FaceTune in the world. Anyway, my mom’s best friend when we grew up was a former meth head and her husband also said he no longer used, but none of us believed him. She inspired me to never do drugs because I saw how much it damaged her life. Now I work in a healthcare setting that helps people affected by meth and it’s crazy to see the damage it causes. I can’t believe people here are genuinely defending one of the deadliest drugs out there, but I guess that’s what addiction does to you.

If this information is true, he is putting people's lives at risk.
Chemist Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 I only know a friend has done and he tells me is the nastiest **** ever

Right because you know every person who does meth in the world and how it affected them. I'm not defending it I'm just saying what I saw with my own eyes. Even Fergie from BEP was a meth addict for years and it didn't make her deformed like you're implying they all must be

I can't be reporting him when I'm also guilty of doing meth with him, rather not get involved. There's functioning alcoholics and addicts all over the medical field
ScorpiosGroove Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 some of y’all don’t love yourselves huh ? OT : no i have some self love in me

He has diagnosed anxiety and depression and daily weed smoking actually is far times more effective than any medication he’s been on. He can go without it but it’s pretty constant. He doesn’t even seem remotely “stoned” when high, just at ease compared to his often anxiety driven sober franticness. this!!! it really helps with anxiety for some people

Tends to be the people who overdo it like binge drinkers, you will see consequences abusing any substance whether it's laced or not. I can't speak on which is safer sinceI haven't had any experience like that with any drug. If there's a problem it's usually about it being weak in intensity cause it's been cut with cheaper stuff

And if that happens, that's partially on you for knowing about it and doing nothing to prevent it. My mother is a nurse and has seen addicts come in and out of her profession. And once they get found out, nobody falls on their sword.

We're assuming here and I don't think it's my place or responsibility. Functioning addicts are not your run of the mill addict, it clearly doesn't affect his ability to work efficiently if he still has his job after all these years. You don't just get away with being a sloppy doctor, one slip up will cost you your career. And personally I would feel guiltier ruining someone's career than not saving hypothetical lives.
