The last Spider-Man movie was released durint the peak of the Omicron variant and grossed almost $2B WW (without China). 93% RT, A+ CinemaScore, $1B+ overseas, etc.

 

The last Batman grossed less than $800M WW (WITH China). Underperformed outside the US, tanked in China, has a lower RT score than the Captain Underpants movie, etc.
