alfonso12 Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 It's what she deserves, it's the best franchise. The last two movies have been sooo good.
undermyskin Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 The better franchise most definitely won. If it wasn't for Halloween (2018) that franchise would be waaaaay behind with twice amount of movies.
Wrecked Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 (edited) I love both franchises so I won’t be shading either. However, I do think as a franchise, Scream is stronger overall but Halloween (1978) is my favourite horror movie of all time. Ghostface and Michael Myers are both icons and I have them both tattooed on my arms so I won’t be tolerating any slander! Edited March 23, 2023 by Wrecked
Shelter Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 Deserved. I like Halloween, but it's such a weak franchise overall. Will Scream 6 become it's biggest grossing of the franchise?

A Bomb Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 And the grossing for the early Halloween movies do account for inflation, right? Otherwise

TheOnlyOne Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 The superior Final Girl won at the end of the day
okgo Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 Scream is obv the overall superior franchise but Halloween (2018): $255.4M she rly did THAT

Attitude Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 Deserved. The last two Halloween movies were awful.
Aristede Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 Halloween is still the superior franchise. Money means nothing.
Intuition Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 Halloween only has Michael Myers. Scream has at least 4 immortal characters who can survive literally anything.
Aristede Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 The best scene in Scream is when Halloween is playing on TV as a matter of fact.

The first is iconic, H20 is good. 2018 is mid at best and the last 2 were trash. I wish they could get it right, but they never will. Scream has actual stories and the whole guess who it is. They don't know what to do with Michael, I guess it's hard because they have to keep him alive.
